in this type of meaning i would reccemend katakana because;
1.it's written like that in the japanese manga. 2.it's not a proper japanese name it's a name of a olden hari ninja when it still didn't even have letters so technacally it's a forren name.
To reiterate: Yes, it's サスケ. Though usually Japanese names are written in kanji.

I know i'm five months late but that's not necessary. There are many people with hiragana-based names and even surnames. Katakana can be used too but that one is the one that is rarer because kana is mainly reserved for foreign words.
