It happens to everyone as they grow up. You find out who you are and what you want, and then you realize that people you’ve known forever don’t see things the way you do. So you keep the wonderful memories, but find yourself moving on.

There is nothing more beautiful than seeing a person being themselves. Imagine going through your day being unapologetically you.

Remember how far you’ve come, not just how far you have to go. You are not where you want to be, but neither are you where you used to be.

All of life is about ending up somewhere you didn’t expect, and learning to just be happy with it.

One of the best feelings in the world is knowing that your presence and absence both mean something to someone.

Maybe growing up was really nothing more than growing away: from your old life, from your old self, from all those things that kept you tethered to your past.

No, I’m not ok. But I haven’t been ok since I was 11, maybe 12. I am still here though. ’m still breathing. For me, sometimes, that will have to be enough.

This, growing up and being better the most. Also the "will this matter a year from now?" is genuinely something I ask myself whenever I get upset about things that don't matter and it immediately helps :P
