didn't anda think the ending to the phantom was wrong?

Well yes I agree I don't like the ending that Universal went with, they should have stuck to the original ending (pictured below) which was closer to the book, instead of pleasing an audience that didn't even read the book! I Cinta the book's ending its pahit sweet and emotionally charged that anda can't help but feel for poor Erik, I know Chaney would have pulled that off masterfully and I wish Chaney and Philbin had been telah diberi the chance to portray it in the film. But no, we got western justice instead. giggy up :/

Much as I prefer the original ending the new ending does give us some nice moments. I always like watching the carriage chase. And Erik's little fake out of the mob is nice. I also Cinta how he doesn't even really fight back he 's just like "Fooled you!" and then laughs all the way into the river.

YES!!!!!! i would have like to have seen the beauty (Christine) end up the Erik!!!! at least, the phantom could have gotten the girl!!!!
