Do you think that, in general, legolas greenleaf/other mirkwood elves are good, or bad?
Good:
1. helped the fellowship defeat sauron
2. held Gollum in captivity after Aragorn captured him.
3. legolas helped and supported Aragorn throughout the lord of the rings seiries.
4. made friends with Gimly, despite their differences.



bad:
1. would he have fought for the free races of middle earth if the elves weren't involved?
2. was Gollum's escape really an accident?
3. mirkwood fell into darkness, its full of giant spiders, wolves, and maybe rouge goblins
4. mirkwood elves(and maybe legolas also) captured Bilbo and his companions in The Hobbit, forcing them to escape via beer barrel.
