Do anda think Madonna deserves lebih respect as an artist?

When some people talk about Madonna they make her seem like someone anda have to respect even though her Muzik is silly and just dance music. And a lot of people don't even understand what she has done to change music. People call Janet and Mariah the real Queens even though Madonna paved the way for them to do what they did.

Madonna peminat-peminat know that her Muzik is lebih than that. Rolling Stone called Like A Prayer the closest pop Muzik has ever gotten to art and she kept pushing the limits with Erotica, ray of Light, Music, etc. To me she is the greatest pop bintang of all time.

Does anyone else think Madonna is really underrated as an artist?

I do agree with you. Many people just don't seem to understand her contributions to the Muzik industry. Plus, she is ever evolving with her Muzik to stay fresh and with the times. I know a lot of people say that only her early Muzik good, but I disagree. Granted most of her Muzik of baru-baru ini has been up beat dance music, but I think it tends to stand on it's own merit. Plus I think she got a lot flack for her Berlakon choices when in my opinion she has lebih talent than some of the teeny boppers that are out there in Filem now. I mean hello? Did anda not see Evita, A League of Their Own, atau The seterusnya Best Thing?
