I have loved every other Morgana. Merlin's Morgana is pretty but bad at acting.

I love Katie! She's a great villain and I don't really even know whats up with the goth thing... was there even such a thing back then haha??

Katie's great, and I appreciate what her character brings to the show. But I think people dislike what her characters has done, like betraying and trying to kill Arthur and Gwen even though they've been nothing but loyal to her, killing innocent people for her own personal gain (making her a massive hypocrite because that's why she hated Uther), and for turning people into deers and stuff (lol, not cool Morgana).

the fact that Katie is playing morgana is probably the only reason why people love morgana so much , as long as morgana is gorgeous , it doesnt matter to the fans that she is an horrible character or that katie is weak when it comes to acting , the beauty is all that matters in this fandom.

my opinion : i dont hate morgana but the fact that she tortures and kill innocent people with no purpose isnt something i should adore about a character. And i think Katie is doing a correct job with acting.

God, I'm sick of that hate! As a fandom we should be united and do not be torned between Arwen and ArMor, Morgana and Gwen. Gosh, people! I love Katie, I think Morgana is a great character, and sorry, If everyone would hate her, she would not win " The Best Baddy". Katie didn't graduate a Drama Academy, she didn't want to be an actress and she said many times that she didn't plan it. For Christ's Sake, do you really think that you help Katie with her work when you hate her? Morgana is the most difficult character to play, she is very complexed and It's hard to portray her perfectly, when you have 5 minutes on screen. If anyone from the cast saw what is going on in this fandom, especially Katie... I can't even imagine how she would feel. Is that what you want? Jeez, start learning new language or collecting stamps WHATEVER! Is hating on some member of the cast is your favourite thing to do? -.-'

I love her. I think Katie is a brilliant actress. Katie's the most inexperienced out of the four of them and Morgana has had the most change. She does the fiesty ward well and the baddy well. When Merlin poisoned her, Katie made it really emotional and made you feel all her emotions. When she had the confrontation with Arthur, even though she was evil you could see the hurt in her eyes.
If you don't like her because she's turned bad, then you should have read the legend. She was destined to become that but I think Merlin poisoning her was what pushed her to the other side. Uther lying to her as well.
As for the goth thing, well, there's nothing wrong with wearing black. She lived in a hovel, god-sake, she's hardly going to be wearing blues and greens and reds. She doesn't need to anymore. It's not like anyone sees her except Agravaine, and who'd want to dress up for that creep (no offense to anyone who actually likes him).
Anyway, I love Morgana. I think Katie portrays her well and has developed her character the most. So if you don't like her, keep it to yourself, cause we don't want to here your hate because you have nothing better to do in their sad lives.

^ Why is it wrong for people to say they don't like Morgana? Freedom of speech and all that. Heck, people say they hate Gwen all the time. When it's Morgana we should keep it to ourselves? I love that Morgana is evil. Eva Green as Morgana was amazing, but Katie isn't working as Morgana. She hasn't got what it takes. They should recast her.

@PociandSmith, no that is not a reason. It is an explanation to why her acting isn't really good. I think everything she does looks fake and overdone. Her facial expressions are bad. Don't even get me started on the smirking. That is the reason. She isn't good at acting.
And to the ones who can't deal with people hating her. Get over it, people have the right to express an opinion. As for me, I don't freaking hate her. They just chose the wrong actress to play the part. She is not convincing.

I quite like Morgana, actually.

People need to learn to separate reality from fiction. People are very justified in not liking Morgana (i.e. Mass-Murder, manipulation, betrayal, hypocrite), just because someone dislikes Morgana doesn't mean that they dislike Katie seeing as THEY ARE NOT THE SAME PERSON! I actually think the casting is the reason why Morgana can get away with so much in the show. People like Katie and obsess over her beauty to such an extent that they overlook any wrong doings Morgana commits.
