My opinion : I agree. I love seasons 5 and 6, but I adooore high school times and to me seasons 1-4 are the best of the show <3

I know people divide the show into Leyton (1-6) and non-Leyton (7-9) series but I always divide it in epic teen high school drama (1-4) and epic adult drama (5-9) that is great but 1000 less perfect than the high school years...

Kind of agree but I thought season 6 was amazing & season 2 was not that good.

kinda agree ,kinda disagree again ,i believe S1-4 had something else to say .
BUT I ADORE both S5+6 so much<33 and yeah S2 is just so boring IMO.

Seasons 1-4 are definitely the best (though I really enjoyed s9 as well)!

Completely agreed. I thought parts of seasons 5, 7 and 9 were great with things in the other seasons being decent. But as a whole, the show was never as consistently good as it was during the high school years. After that, it felt like there was much more filler and unnecessary stuff. Other story lines were flat out boring.
