I don't think she punched her so much because she slept with nathan, but more because of how hipocritical brooke had been. all this time, brooke had been holding a grudge over peyton KISSING lucas, and then peyton finds out that brooke had slept with her boyfriend. sure, you can argue they were broken up, but they always broke up, and brooke knew that. i'm not saying that this makes what peyton did right- two wrongs never make a right- i just understand why she slapped brooke. i would have if i was in her position.

i love brooke but she did give peyton a hard tym when she was with lucas in s4 but peyton looked like she needed angermanagement wayyy OTT

I understand why she was upset, but like I said at the other post about Brooke slapping peyton- she shouldn't have done it, but she had a right to be upset.

no!!! it happened in the past and peyton knew nothing about the circumstances for all she knew it happend before she ever dated nathan, and since when is it right to punch somebody for being a hypocrit, gawd if that was true i would punch every body i know at some point. it wasnt a slap it was a full on punch. with the new one punch law in australia that is practically attempted murder (in a wierd stupid way) over here. brooke had done a low thing (like three years earlier) peyton had a right to be peeved, i wouldnt hold it against her if she slapped brooke or pushed or swore to her face, but punching was not justified, not right and brooke didnt deserve it. by those standards peyton deserved more than just a punch.

link). and yes, you can say that the s4 brathan thing was a recent addition, but brooke treated petyon like crap in s4 too.

but peyton didnt slap brooke she punched brooke, and it may be wrong but those are two totally different levels of violence. and like i said since when was it alright to punch somebody for being a hypocrit.

it was a piled up emotion of realizing that brooke slept with nathan, never had any intention of telling her the truth, and then cut peyton out/slapped her/made her life a living hell for telling Brooke the truth - not to mention peyton found out in front of half the school. I'd understand if brooke slapped/punched peyton after she found out about her and luke in s1. but peyton telling brooke the truth, and putting her foot in her mouth doesn't warrant a slap. What brooke did and how peyton found out infront of EVERYONE is understandably upsetting so I can understand peyton's actions (though I never agree that violence is the answer :P)

well i think that peyton was over reacting just a little but then again the video wasn't just for her to see. i mean everybody saw it but still. and i think the punch was too much. i mean if that relationship didn't really mean anything i guess she shouldn't have been that upset.

i dont think it was entirely about brooke sleeping with nathan. i think the punch was partially that and partially brooke for being unbelievably hypocritical.
