Ready to Rock
One day, I was strumming on my guitar. The phone rang. Uncle Bob answered it. He then said, "John, it's for you." I answered the phone. It was Peter. He asked, "Can anda and Allen come over?" I said, "I can. I don't know about Allen." Peter said, "If anda can, bring your guitars. I have a surprise for you." I said, "Okay." I went over to Allen's, and he was able to come. Allen asked, "What's the occasion?" I said, "Peter berkata that he had a surprise for us." Allen said, "I like surprises." We arrived at Peter's, and there was another guy with him. I jokingly asked, "What's Frank Zappa doing here?" The guy gave me a weird look and then looked at Peter as if to ask, "Is this guy serious?" Peter berkata to him, "Don't worry, mate. That's just John's sense of humor." Allen asked, "So, who is this mate of yours?" Peter replied, "This is Stan. Stan, this is John and Allen." I asked, "How do anda know each other?" Peter said, "We just happened to come across each other during the 4th of July celebration. For some reason, we just started talking about music, and he told me that he plays drums. I told him we needed a drummer." I said, "Okay, Stan. tunjuk us your stuff." Stan showed us his abilities, and he was quite amazing. We started playing together, and he had great chemistry with us. I said, "Stan, you're in!" Stan said, "Great!" Before we went our separate ways, Stan said, "There's one thing missing." I asked, "What's that?" He said, "Our band doesn't have a name. Every band should have a name." I said, "That's true." Allen said, "Since one of our members is from England, we could call our band Foreigner." I said, "There's already a band called Foreigner. Besides, I feel like that would be degrading towards Peter." Stan said, "How about John and the Radicals?" I said, "No, nothing with my name in it. I would like it to be equal." Allen asked, "Are anda sure, John? You're the front man. Have anda forgotten that?" I said, "I don't think the front man should get all the glory. The front man is no lebih important than the drummer." Peter suggested holding off on the name for now. We each went our separate ways, thinking of different possibilities of what to name our band.
