Note: This is the first chapter of my new fanfiction Where I Belong. I have already thought up the plot but not every detail. There's a twist and Private finds out Skippper had been hiding something from him.
Private felt completely alone. The unruly, brisk gusts of snow grew lebih vigorous sejak the minute. If only he had got his uncle to take him utama atau stayed in the H.Q. To make matters worse neither Skipper, Kowalski, atau Rico knew where he was. His life long scheme would end up in tradgedy. Struggling to substain from collapsing, started picturing the time he had spent with his cherished friends. imej of all them flashed before his eyes. A tear dripped from his innonce eyes. Before he knew it he has on the ground fighting to keep consiousness. Why couldn't his Friends just work it out. It wasn't their fault, and Private knew it.
Two weeks ago:
It was a humid, muggy summer morning in New York City. The sun hadn't even come up and Skipper had gotten the team up for early training at four 'o' clock. They moaned and groaned which caused Skipper to obtain a outraged and crabby mood.
P: "Skippah, do we have to get up so early for training?"
S: "Well, geeh, Private! I'm sorry for trying to strengthen anda boys' stamina!"
Skipper slapped Private.
S: "If anda boys want to serve in this unit. I suggest anda get used to it atau get over it!"
K: "You have to admit 0400 ia little bit early for exerices."
Rico began to let out a fatigued yawn.
S: "That's it, men! Give me 50!"
P: "Not push-ups!"
S: "Yes, push-ups!"
R: "djghsuistsjbd!"
Rico mumbled to the others who were doing their push-ups.
S: "What was that, Rico? Are anda complaining? Well, if anda think I'm being so unfair, anda won't mind seeing what the rest of the team thinks. Boys?"
P: "Um... kind of,"
K: "Sorry, Skipper."
S: "I see, I have to toughen anda men up!"
K: "Skipper, we're tired!"
S: "You don't think I am?"
P: "But you're not doing any of the work!"
S: "I didn't back talk my commanding officer!"
R: "Neither did Kowalski atau I!"
S: "Fine, go back and sleep! I don't care if you're in shape, anymore!"
They moped, basikal berenjin into the H.Q. while Skipper stormed into it. While getting coffee, Skipper noticed his team watching TV.
S: "Wait, I thought anda boys are too tired!"
P: "To train, but we can't fall back asleep."
S: "Maybe, anda all wouldn't be so tired if anda didn't stay up so late, Kowalski."
K: "I didn't know we were training so early, Skipper."
P: "Can't we have a hari off of training, Skippah?"
S: "Negative, not today. It's my job to keep anda soldiers fit and capable of fighting skills."
Kowalski whispered to Private, but Skipper over heard.
K: "To keep us fit you'd have to be fit yourself!"
S: "I heard that, Kowalski, also I know that anda wouldn't be without me."
Kowalski was about to speak his mind but stopped himself.
S: "What were anda going to say, Kowalski?"
K: "Nothing,"
S: "Oh, really? anda weren't about to say anda didn't need me?"
Kowalski held his head low.
S: "Well?!"
K: "You're right."
S: "Well, I don't need anda atau any of you! I'm better off alone!"
P: "Skippah, please!"
S: "No, Private! You're better off without me, too. I'm sorry..."
Private forgot what Skipper had berkata seterusnya because it was incomprehensive to him. He had no clue that it would come to his mind later and make sense.
Skipper packed up his posessions, and headed out silently. Private thought about the way he had left that evening all night.
P: "I miss Skippah, Kowalski."
K: "What am I supposed to do about that, Private? There's no getting him back. It's your fault!"
Private began to cry. Kowalski hugged the tiny penguin.
K: "I'm sorry, Private! I'm just frustrated."
P: "Do anda miss him, too?"
Kowalski sighed.
K: "No,"
R: "shfahfga dfhsjg sdgfutgus dsakgfu stgiufd."
K: "Maybe, we should go our seperate ways."
P: "No!"
K: "I'm sorry, Private."
Later that night, after they all had packed up, Private snuck out with his bags when no one was looking.
Private felt a missing part of him come out again. Like an old wound that had been cut into again, but denser. When Private was a chick his father had left and his mother fell in Cinta with another penguin. He made it his goal to meet his real father and get to know him.
Two weeks later:
Private felt his body shutting down. This was his last chance.
P: "Help! Somebody, help! Help!"
The weather got worse and Private's eyes were half open. A stubby figure stepped forward, but was hard to make out.
