Skipper got the team up early and they began lebih searching. That morning they started outside for their investigations. They made their way down the path. Rico began saying something babblish.
"What is it boy?" Skipper pondered.
"Rightthere!" Rico said, gesturing toward a pair of bloody webbed footprints.
"But the footprints end in the middle of the trail." Private said, explaining the obvious.
"Rico, get the other team. Ivory and I will scan for DNA." Kowalski said.
Rico did as he was told and brought them there. The two scientists got to work immediately.
"So, where should we start?" She asked.
"Here, use this q-tip and swipe the mark to pick up the blood."
"Alright," She berkata and put in some sort of machine. On the screen it showed what it picked up. It was Ellie's blood.
No matter how hard they tried, the answer was of no avail.
"Ugh! He must be a pro. Not leaving one single trace of DNA, this is terrible."
"Maybe, anda should take a break. I'll take over." Skipper offered.
"Okay, it couldn't hurt." Kowalski moaned and stepped into the house.
The beautiful symphony of a grand Piano bellowed through the house. The stressed penguin followed the beat. When he reached it, he found it was eminating from the main room. Ms. Williams sat at the najis in front of the piano, gracefully playing each key.
She turned around, when she heard him enter.
"Oh, hello, darling!"
"Hey, what was that wonderful song anda were playing?"
"Oh this? It was my huaband's favorite song. He even taught Ramona it."
"I see,"
"Well, it is getting late. I think, I'll be off to bed."
"All right, good night."
As the woman got farther and farther up the stairs, voices became lebih clearer. Kowalski waddled up to the bookshelf. He had to squint, but he managed to see something.
There was a whole another room. It had a small meja, jadual with three chairs. In each chair, was a penguin. They wore black masks disguising their faces. A heavy set one and a brute sat across from eachother, while one was walking around them.
"Now, can some one tell me why, we have to do everything in our power to stay a secret." The one walking around berkata with their voice changed sejak a microphone type thing on its feathers.
The chubby penguin raised his flipper halfway timidly.
"Yes," The leader berkata firmly.
"Um, because we'd probably get punished."
"Right, and if anyone is coming close to figuring out, we'll just have to kill them. Look, I'm not trying to be a bad guy, but I have some unfinished business to attend to, and I am a very dedicated penguin. If you're not, you'll be killed, found out, atau even both, and first off this isn't the job for you. Understood?" It explained slamming an axe into the table.
"Understood," The brute said.
"Y-yeah," The other one said.
"Good," The leader as and put its arm around the brawny one. Kowalski gasped. They turned and looked him straight in the eyes, which was all they could see of him.
They quickly got up. Kowalski rushed up the stairs and into the bedroom, slamming the door behind him.
"Kowalski," Skipper said, as the nervous penguin flinched, "you okay?"
"Yeah," Kowalski berkata falling back onto his bed. Private stared down on him from the pillows, he was sitting on.
"What happened? Please, tell us." Private said. Kowalski sighed and sat up. He noticed his friends' concerned expressions.
"When I was downstairs, I heard voices coming from behind the bookshelf." He started.
"Voices?" Skipper asked skeptically.
"Yes, so I peeked in, and found a whole other room. Three figures in black masks were sitting at a table."
"There was a leader, right?" Skipper asked. Everyone stopped and stared at him. "What? I'm trying to get details."
"Yeah, the leader had an axe, and it berkata that it'd get rid of anyone, who posed a threat to their operation."
Skipper yawned. "All right, we'll commence investigation on the mystery chamber-"
"Thank you, for believing me."
"... Tomorrow,"
"But what if-"
"Kowalski, we're all extremely bushed."
"I understand."
Kowalski murmured and got under the covers.
