This is just a little something I decided to write for mother's day. I should be finishing it, but don't count on it.
As always, Skipper called Father's hari a hari off. It wasn't his fault he had to, it was Rico's. He would always stay in his bunk on that holiday. To the other's, it was a good time to take a hari off. It was their opertunity to visit family atau just have a free day.
This Father's hari was different, though. It was Johnson's first tahun back, and no one was going out anywhere. Ivy and Private were simply going to write a letter to Uncle Nigel, with Johnson's help. Skipper and Kowalski planned to have the ultimate checkers match.
The hari was going good. It was ten o'clock, and Skipper and Kowalski were deeply into the game. Ivy, Private, and Johnson were on their third paragraph of the letter. Rico was laying in bed.
"Hello? Hello?" some voices called. The penguins heard the patting of feet above them. "Anyone here?"
The entrance vigorously opened, and a penguin fell in, letting out scared shout. She fell right on her face.
"Ru!" another penguin slowly climbed down the ladder. "Are anda okay?"
Ru lifted her head, and looked at the other penguin. "I'm okay,"
Then they seemed to realize they were being watched. They glanced over at the team. Ru got up, and her partner cleared her throat.
"Hello, I'm Rica, and this is Ru. We're looking for, uh, Rico. We heard that we would find him here."
The team just continued looking at them. They were both girl, with some feather sticking out of their heads in various places. Rica had a very noticeable scar that went from her stomach to her feet.
"Wow, wow, wow!" Skipper exclaimed, going up to them. "What's going on here? Explain yourselves, ladies!"
"We're looking for Rico," Ru said. "Sorry if we interrupted you, though."
"Oh, don't worry about it," Skipper said. "Rico, anda got some visitors."
Rico glumly slung his legs over the side of the bunk, and landed sejak Rica and Ru.
"Whadaya want?" he asked, crossing his wings.
Skipper went back to the others and continued the match, along with Kowalski. Ivy, Johnson, and Private just continued watching.
"Rico, why so glum? It's us!" Ru said.
"I'm so glad we finally meet! I've been waiting a long time for this!" Rica said. The girls hugged Rico.
"Wha? What ah anda doing?" Rico exclaimed.
"Family hug!" Ru said.
Rico seemed astonished. A smile merged on his face. Like how anda see someone after a long time without seeing them, anda are so happy. What if a long time stood for forever? Rico felt this joy.
"Rica! Ru!" he exclaimed, and tightly hugged them back.
"Aww!" Private, Ivy, and Johnson exclaimed. Skipper and Kowalski looked up from their game.
"Holy ikan cakes! What's going on here?" Skipper exclaimed.
"My daughters! My daughters!" Rico exclaimed.
