But I think the 1995 miniseries version can give the novel a run for its money (especially since it's almost verbatim from the novel).

Jane Austen sometimes expresses so much innerthoughts that cannot be put in a movie or TV screen. It's really difficult to compare a book with a movie specially when the book plays with our imagination and our own ideal of how the characters are playing.
Austen wins over movie anytime.
