The reason for the long wait was explained sejak the president of programming for USA. He berkata that they had to make room for lebih shows, and because Psych is one of the lebih popular shows, ironically that had to be pushed back until the Fall.
There could be a number of reason for it's lateness, I'm hoping it has NOTHING to do with season 6 possibly being the final season. I started watching this tunjuk in it's third season and can't imagine my Wednesday nights without Psych. Shawn and Gus make me laugh until I cry.

I don't think the sixth season will be the last, at least I hope not. There have been rumors of a 7th season.
