Lorinna couldn't believe what she had just done. She touched Gisborne. No, worse than 'touch' she-- Sexually touched him. Her mind was a whirl. What if someone from the gang saw? What if Vasey saw? Either way, one of them would be in big trouble. It's that damn drumming in my head-- That's what made me do it. She berkata in her head, but something just didn't feel right. "Why did anda let that drumming noise inside your head take over you?" Another voice nagged, making her feel even worse. Her mind was at war with her common sense, and if someone didn't stop her--
"LORINNA!" Her head whirled around, causing her blond hair to blow in the wind. Her eyes lit up, and a smile was etched across her face like it would stay there forever. "Robin! How good to see you!" She berkata happily, as he himself smiled at her; Knowing a real smile from her was only for a certain amount of people, and he was lucky enough to be one of those people.
He leaned casually against a pokok as she ran up to him, face full of Glee and her stride full of pride. "Well, someone looks happy." He mocked, making her roll her eyes and throw the pact at him. His eyes went wide at the sight of it, and he immediately began to look at it, as to verify if it was real. "You actually did it, without any help too... Well done!" Now it was his turn to smile broadly. Lorinna smirked at her triumph. "I knew I could do it. But, nope. anda all thought that I would get hurt in the process but look: I'm a live and well, and I have the pact. What lebih could anda ask for?"
"Some decent Makanan would be nice!" A voice shouted from behind a hill. "And some decent clothes too! D'you see 'ow run done these look?"
"Oh please. I could wear the same clothes for a tahun and go through Hell and back and I'd still want them." Lorinna laughed loudly at her family's mockings. They all soon showed their faces from atop the hill. "So, did anda get it?" The only other female in the group, Djaq asked. "Robin, if you'd do them the honor." Robin nodded and tossed the pact up to Much; The sandy haired apprentice of Robin. He opened it up quickly and smiled. "You sure 'his is it?" Allan, a man with a growing beard and brown hair asked. "Of course it is. Look at the details, and the text." Djaq snapped at Allan's ignorance. "How did anda ever manage to pull this off without any of us helping?" John, the groups biggest member asked. Lorinna shrugged, simply looking at her nails. "I have my ways."
"Well I certainly need to learn these 'ways'. We could accomplish so much more!" Their youngest male member, Will asked. Robin laughed, as Lorinna made her way up to sertai her 'family'.
"So, what has my family been up to while I was risking my ass?" She teased, flinging her arms over Much and Allan. "Well, we were planning on getting Marian to recruit to the gang." Much explained, knowing fully well Robin had as much input as anyone did to this. "Oh really? What makes anda say that she needs to be in the protection of us?" Lorinna said, mocking Vasey's voice. "Well, besides the constant danger of her being the Nightwatchmen, Gisborne is always at her tail, always putting her into situations that force her to chose between him atau her family. And when she chooses wrong, that's when things get ugly. So, yes Lorinna, I think she might need to stay here for a bit." Robin snapped, walking along side her.
She got her arms off of Much and Allan and stood in front of Robin, eyes like the pits of Hell. Much rolled his eyes and made his escape. "Here we go again!" Djaq muttered, and walked off before the two started fighting again.
There was a long, deadly silence between the two. Lorinna couldn't believe how vain he sounded right than and there. Always trying to be the hero. Can't he understand that Marian doesn't always need to be watched over like some young child? "You do fully understand that Marian is perfectly capable of taking care of herself?" She asked, a bit colder than she intended to be. Robin looked back at her with the same amount of coldness. "Yes, I'm fully aware of it Lorinna and I think that I should be the one who most is." She narrowed her eyes at him.
"Than why is it that every single time anda think she is in some sort of danger, everyone just comes running down to save her? If she is really that important to you, I think you'd learn she is fully able to take care of herself. And not let some pompous keldai like Gisborne always push her into the dirt." Robin massaged the area between his eyes. Why must she always be so difficult about such things? He knew she meant the best for letting Marian be independent and helping herself, but there were times when she really did need help.
"Lorinna, just let it go. Marian is coming to the camp and that's final." He berkata thickly, before walking off towards the camp. Lorinna flipped him off behind his back and began making her way back towards camp. Why does she ALWAYS have to be in our plans? Every time we talk about making a new plan, she's always involved somehow. I'm surprised that no one else is annoyed sejak this. It's always 'Marian this' atau 'Marian that' atau something Marian related. No matter the mission, she always ends up getting involved with it... Lorinna was coming up towards the camp, and kicked a log just before she went in. Damn Hood... If he hadn't saved my ass, I would forever speak my true opinions on that wench. She pulled a lever from inside a rock, and went inside the camp.
"About time! Your Makanan was getting cold." Much said, shoving a plate in her hands. "Uh-- I'm sorry?" He just waved his hand, and sat back down himself. Lorinna sat down too, and ripped off pieces of her jerky while listening to Allan re-tell the days mission they had.
A few hours later, people started to head off towards their bunks and going to sleep. Lorinna however, liked staying up and watching the stars. At the moment, she was laying down on a patch of grass, dazing up into the great and magical world of the stars.
She felt so at peace, and the sebelumnya thoughts she had been having on Marian seemed to have disappeared, and added to her awe and wonder at the stars. She always wondered what it would be like to be up there. To be able to touch the clouds, and the stars. To bungkus, balut the darkness around her like a beautiful silky dress, and the sun would be her best friend. She would be able to touch its warmth, and feel its great power upon her.
Consumed in her daydream, she didn't notice Robin come over and lay down beside her. "Beautiful aren't they?" He asked, causing her to get up and give him a serious look. "Oh, it's just anda Robin." She let go a breath she hadn't known she was holding, and went back down to the ground. She snuggled back unto the rumput and rested her head on his chest. "Indeed. Do anda ever wonder what it would be like to live up there? To live amongst the stars and Gods?" Robin looked up at the stars and smiled. Lorinna's soalan and mind always intrigued him. Her soalan were never dull, and when they talked about something she felt very deeply about, she seemed much older than she was with the wisdom that spilled from her mouth. "I do wonder at times when I am alone too. It makes me wish for death at my worse times, so I can be up in the stars." He could feel the smile on her face, and he began messing with her hair. "Lorinna, do ever feel lonely?" His soalan made her expression change. What an odd question... Normally she would have changed the subject, thinking fatigue was talking and not Robin. But now, under the stars, she seemed lebih at ease, and really did feel like answering his question.
"Of course I do. Though I absolutely Cinta all of anda with all my heart, I wish at times that I could just be living a life every girl dreams of when they're little. Having a fully good childhood with her parents, and when she got older, meeting a nice guy to settle in with and build a family with. anda know? I mean, sometimes I wish my parents were here. Though I never knew them, sometime I'm dying to know them. Even though my dad did abandon me before I was born, it would be nice to meet him and teach him a lesson for what he did... I feel lonely when I don't have someone to confide my feelings too. I know anda all are hear for me, but none of anda are really the 'listening type'. You're lebih of the action type. lebih of the 'Less talk and lebih fighting'. I mean, I Cinta to fight with anda Robin, but having someone to talk to wouldn't hurt."
"But then there's the feeling I get when I see anda and Marian together... That lonely feeling like no man will ever want me. That no man will ever Cinta me as much as Marian loves you... Yes, I do feel lonely Robin. Everyday of my life."
Her profound speech of honesty astounded him. He never knew she felt this way, well she never really talked about it anyway... "Lorinna, how can anda be so sure no man will ever want you?" Lorinna sighed, and continued looking up into the sky. "Well, look at me Robin: I'm a bastards child, I'm working with Robin Hood, and I am an outlaw. I highly doubt any decent man will ever want someone like me."
She was starting to feel a little uncomfortable in the silence that followed her response. Had she berkata something wrong? Had she berkata something that offended him?
"You know Lorinna, I kind of having this feeling that someone out there is wishing anda would be with them right now." Robin finally said, making her smile and pat him lightly on his leg. "Yeah right. You're only saying that to make me feel better." She smirked, looking at him this time. "I'm really not! I swear. I now I'm the one to talk, due to that most likely every woman in Locksley would want to have me... But, I know that there's someone out there for anda Lorinna. I'm telling you." Lorinna smiled, grateful that Robin would say such a thing. "Thank anda Robin, I truly am."
Robin smiled, satisfied that he had made Lorinna happy. "Never forget who anda are, little star, shining brighter than all the stars in the sky..." Lorinna sang softly, her eyes sparkling like the stars in the sky. "Never forget how to dream, butterfly..." Robin sighed happily. The moment was so peaceful, his life seemed so perfect, it seemed nothing could ruin his life of perfection. atau so he thought...
