*Brook's POV*

I got out of katil early the seterusnya morning feeling so excited for the hari to come. I had plenty of sleep despite the dreams that always had one person in it. . . Karim. There was just something that always draws me to him. . . I had connected with him unlike any other.
I wonder why?
I fixed my hair down, plain, boring, and wavy. I put on a touch of lipstick and decided to dress up, well, just a little bit. I put on a spaghetti-strap dress that was a purple color with designs all over it and my old jaket with a kalung that Linda got for...

His eyes were wide with fright as he stared back at me. sejak this time, every vampire in the room was on alert. One was even trying to use their ability against me because I felt an awful stabbing pain against my shield, but nothing could penetrate its defenses now.
"You. . ." Aro gasped out, and the entire vampire guard fell into a crouch as if to attack me.

"STAND DOWN NOW!" Aro ordered severely, and sejak the stunned expressions of his guard, Aro clearly never raised his voice. Until now.
He stared back at me...

Previously on Ch.4:

I didn't say one word, I just shot out the door and into the forest.
"Come on!" I heard Alice shout, and then I could hear my family's footsteps coming from behind me.

Now, Ch.5:

I ran as fast as I possibly could to her. When I was near, I smelled the air.
Her scent of fressia and lavender wrapped around me like a rope, pulling me in . . . Ah, how I missed this scent, her scent.
Then I could hear her hati, tengah-tengah beat as I neared. And it was beating much too fast - and I flew to her.
And just like in Alice's vision, she was there, lying unconscious on the ground....

I started Membaca Romeo & Juliet again as I wished time would somehow go faster. It was a rare sunny hari in Forks, which meant I would be spending time away from my love. She was at school and I was stuck in my room reading. . . without her.
I groaned and tossed the book aside.
"Man this sucks!" Emmett complained as he walked right in my room uninvited and sat down on the floor.
"What is it Emmett?" I asked in exasperation, not even bothering to...

I gently pulled her chin so she would face me. She took in a deep breath before gazing into my eyes.
Something happened because they grew impossibly softer to where it actually seemed as if they were sparkly.

I was momentarily shocked sejak her confession so she continued.

"Alice?" I gasped, sure I was still dreaming, but my dreams rarely included Alice, who had been like the sister I never had.

I've been wearing my new white jubah, berjubah that my new family made for me almost everyday. Well, not to school at least. I just loved it because it brought back so many memories. . .
I sighed. Good and bad memories. . . it was a win-win I guess.
I was sitting in Biology, bored, since Edward wasn't here beside me. It was a rare sunny hari in Forks, and while all were enjoying the warmth that doesn't shine here too often, I can say I felt the opposite. Because the Cullens were Vampires they had to stay within their house to avoid being seen sejak the human...

*Alexis's POV

Everyone went off to their rooms as dusk approached us.
I went to my dad's quarters since mom went out with a couple of our other brothers and sisters to gather groceries. When I say our other brothers and sisters, I'm talking about the ones not born of Scarlet blood, but sejak Scarlet venom. And let's just say that they loathe us, which is really jealously of mine, Karim's, Alfred's, and Jackson's bloodline. . . our Highborn quality. So we really just stay away from each...

Even though months have passed since I last saw her, she was still the most beautiful, angelic creature to have ever existed. And her once transculent-like skin was significantly paler, her berangan, coklat tua brown hair was still the same, thankfully. But her eyes . . . her once beautifully warm, and full of so many emotions brown eyes seemed as if they were clouded...
