It was already lunchtime and I hesitantly walked to the cafeteria. I looked at the far meja, jadual where the Cullens normally sit, and, sure enough, there they were.
Alice was bobbing up and down excitingly when she saw me enter the lunchroom.
With a wry smile, I shook my head and grabbed a tray of food. After paying for it, I walked to their meja, jadual - carefully avoiding the curious gazes of my human friends.
"Sit here Bella!" Alice said, pulling out a chair beside...

*Brook's POV*

I was restless in my sleep the whole night. So I wasn't surprised to find awful bags under my eyes when I woke up the seterusnya morning.
I got dressed - throwing on my white skirt that rested slightly above my knees, dark brown baju, blaus that had light brown Bunga imprinted on it, and my usual brown sandals. I decided to wear my hair up in a ponytail and put on a bit of make-up to try and conceal the bags under my eyes.
I went to the dapur wearing my brown bag over my shoulder. Aunt Linda saw me.
"Oh, if your going out, Brook can anda grab...

"Alice?" I gasped, sure I was still dreaming, but my dreams rarely included Alice, who had been like the sister I never had.
"Surprise, surprise!" she grinned her familiar grin at me while I stared at her in shock, wondering if this was really real atau not.

She took and hugged me fiercely, which I returned after a few saat of my momentary shock.
"Oh, Bella! I missed anda so much! I'm so happy to see anda again after all this time!" she rambled on and on, and if Vampires could cry, she would have probably already soaked the baju I was wearing....

*Brook's POV*

By the time I reached the village, everyone was already gathered around and filling their plates with today's hunt.
I rushed into my house and placed the basket of herbs in the dapur where Linda and I mend through them.
I swiftly rushed back out and stood in line behind Aunt Linda.
"How was your hari Brook?" Linda asked me.
"It was great! How was your hari aunt Linda?" I spoke, hoping that my voice and face would not portray what really happened.
"Oh," she sighed grumpily, shaking her head,"the line at the...
