We were running back to Carlisle’s place but I couldn’t shake the thought of Edward and me before. I didn’t use my gift to run fast instead I ran beside Alice because I wanted to talk to her about my feelings, my feelings for Edward.

I felt so guilty towards Bella and Carlisle. I should have listened to him but instead I wanted to know what happened to me, how I became a vampire.

We were all sitting in the sofa, kerusi panjang waiting to see Bella’s gift, she was standing in the middle of the room with her eyes closed. It looked kind of awkward to see her like that but my awkwardness soon disappeared into admiration.
