"Mmmmm... Shadow, the alarm clock," Tara mumbled as she buried her face in her pillow. Shadow slowly lifted his arm and felt around on the sidetable for the clock. When he found it, he smashed it to bits. "Shadow!" Tara said, the noise waking her up completely. "What?" he said, putting the bantal over his head. "You really need to work on that," she said, lifting up the covers and getting out of bed. "Whatever," Shadow grumbled. Tara looked at him upset, but then she got an idea. She walked through the doorway and went across the hall to Midnight's room, then to Star's room. "REALLY!?!?!" they both screamed. "DADDYYYY!!!!!" they screamed, running into the room and jumping on Shadow's back. Shadow looked at Tara, not believing she just did that. Tara stood in the doorway, looking smug. "Time to get out of bed," she berkata straight. Shadow grunted as he pried the two children off of his back and headed down stairs. When he got there, he sat down at the diningroom meja, jadual and slammed his head down, falling alseep again.
"Ahh! Stupid tree!" Midnight berkata as she stumbled her way through the forest. She looked around at all the trees surrounding the strange zigzag path. They had to be atleast a couple hundred meters tall. There were a bunch of planks and catwalks and ladders and pulley systems inbetween the trees. But the place seemed pretty vacant; it had been that way since she first fell upon the strange floating island, but she could tell. It was very different from Angel Island. She walked on the path. "I'm going nowhere coming from nowhere!" she berkata to herself. "I guess there's no point in- hey!" she berkata as she tripped on an upped root and tumbled down the steep side of the hill. "Oh. god dammit..." she berkata getting up and rubbing her head. She looked back up at the bukit and sighed. "No point at all..." she berkata as she plopped down on the ground and fell asleep.
