Eve Candles opened her eyes and saw Xi Omega, Skulduggery and Valkyrie throwing api, kebakaran balls at the attacking Alpha Shades, Arthur Connell was busy getting the Doctor away from the fight and Fletcher was using his teleportation to avoid the Alpha Shades, Eve decided to help so started to throw black api, kebakaran at the Alpha Shades before realising that her magic couldn’t work against her own kind so she griped tightly to her samurai sword and charged to the battle.
20 minit later
The Alpha Shades had retreated and the team were exhausted then Xi looked around, the area had been destroyed, then he noticed that his samurai sword had been knocked out of his hand and it lay on the floor a few feet from him, he walked over to it, picked it up and put it back on his tali pinggang and turned to his Friends “well” he berkata “that went as well as could be expected”, the Doctor walked up to him “what on earth are anda doing here?” he asked,
“I could ask anda same thing” replied Xi smiling
“Well I came for the staff of coldran, to use on Alpha”
“So are we” berkata Arthur who was still sejak the Doctors side“except we want to use it on Cealan as well”, then Eve walked up to them holding onto her injures on her left arm “not possible, I can smell evil, he has lots of evil in him, lebih than Alpha, beyond help of the staff, we have to kill him” she said, even though he didn’t tunjuk it Eve knew that Fletcher was happy about the whole kill Cealan thing then Skulduggery walked up to the conversation “what about Alpha?” Eve turned to him, “if we can keep the light of the staff on him as long as possible than yes”, Xi sighed with relief ten berkata “right the map says that the staff is here so that’s why we’re all here, yes?” everyone looked at each other, then Fletcher berkata “I’m only here because anda guys called me here, I never would of come if it involved Cealan”, everyone turned to him and then Fletcher smirked.“Only joking, I would of come even if involved certain death, I would of come” Valkyrie then smiled and rolled her eyes.
The team were searching what was left of the bangsal for anything that may lead them to the staff of coldran “What are we looking for anyway” berkata Arthur then the Doctor looked up from a lump of hay “a door, part of a map, a key, anything that will help us find that staff before Alpha, Cealan and the Alpha Shades come back” he berkata then Valkyrie stamped on the ground, hollow,
“hey guys I found something” the team gathered around the area swept the dust and hay away to reveal a trap door with a symbol of a dragon on it “this is it, must be” berkata Xi, he and Skulduggery went to the handle and pulled, Xi using the earth element and Skulduggery using his own strength, pulled the heavy door open to reveal a set of stairs, Xi, Skulduggery and Valkyrie all click their fingers and summoned flames and went down the stairs followed sejak the Doctor, Arthur, Eve and Fletcher.
The team had been walking down this tunnel for five long minit and Valkyrie was starting to doubt Xi, she had heard some stories about him, mostly about how he killed Alpha Shade generals, he was like Skulduggery but had a dark side ten times as big as Skulduggery’s, then Xi stopped, but Skulduggery kept on walking, straight into Xi “hey” he berkata “sorry, but why did anda stop?” asked Skulduggery, then Xi whispered “can’t anda feel that” then Skulduggery, Valkyrie, Fletcher and Eve all shuddered “exactly” he said, Arthur and the Doctor looked at each other then back to Xi “exactly what, we can’t feel anything” berkata Arthur then Eve turned to them “because anda don’t have any magic” she then turned to Xi “is that right Xi?”, Xi nodded and Eve smiled then Xi turned back to the tunnel then continued walking, the rest of the team followed.
They came to a large room, on the dinding were imej of dragons, Vampires and werewolves, but in the centre of the room stood a staff with a jewel on top, the staff of coldran, Valkyrie look unimpressed “that was too easy” she said, but no one was listening, they were busy looking around for any traps that they may step on, on the way in, nothing, the team looked at each other and shrugged and walked on, then a voice came from the tunnel “one lebih step and this whole tunnel comes down” Fletcher knew that voice, Cealan, he turned to just in time to see Cealan teleport right seterusnya to him, Cealan hissed menunjukkan his fangs “you things that’s scary” berkata Fletcher punching Cealan in the face, he fell but then a stream of red energy sprung out from the darkness and hit Fletcher in the chest and he went flying into the dinding on the other side of the room and Alpha walked out of the shadow, out of fear, Eve ran to the staff, grabbed it, dropping her sword and pointed the staff at Alpha but then the shadows in the tunnel came to life and turned into the serigala, wolf like creatures that were the Alpha Shade shadow form, Xi pulled out his sword from his belt, Arthur, but an Arrow into his bow, Skulduggery pulled out his gun, Valkyrie had api, kebakaran in one hand and a shadow in the other then Fletcher teleported seterusnya to Xi, holding Eve’s sword in his hand, and the Doctor stood seterusnya to Eve and they charged at the Alpha Shades, Xi used the wind element to life himself into the air and down in front of Alpha and put his sword to Alpha’s chin, but Cealan leapt out of the battle and to Xi’s neck but Fletcher grabbed him and teleported him but Cealan teleported both himself and Fletcher back into the battle. Eve used the staff to zap the Alpha Shades that created black dust that fell to the floor, she turned to Xi who still had Alpha still, she only had one shot at this, emas light surrounded the jewel at the bahagian, atas of the staff and she fired it straight at Alpha, sending Xi flying into Skulduggery, Alpha was suspended in the air surrounded sejak emas energy that burned every cell of evil from his body, five minit later the light faded, everyone stood around him, even the Alpha Shades then the light went out and he fell to the ground, Xi ran to him and kneeled seterusnya to him, Alpha’s black suit of armour had been destroyed, Eve and Arthur where amazed about how much Xi and Alpha looked alike, when Alpha open his eye’s Xi berkata “brother?”, Alpha looked at him and smiled “yes” he berkata then saw the Alpha Shades and sent a wave of red energy, sending all the Alpha Shades except Eve flying, both Xi and the Doctor helped Alpha up and the team were about to run but Cealan stood in their way, his right hand was swirling with shadows that cackled with lightning he aimed straight at Eve, he fired the lightning shadow but just as it was about to hit her, Alpha pushed her over and took the full blast of the energy, Xi gasped as he saw that the lightning shadow had put a large hole in his stomach, he could see parts of Alpha’s spinal cord and bits of burned off flesh, he fell to the ground the team all kneeled around him but Xi moved Alpha so that he lay in Xi’s arms Cealan stood in the shadows but no one was bothered about him, Xi just wept and wept as his brother lay there dying, but then Alpha pulled Xi closer to his ear and whispered “I’m sorry” into his ear then Alpha’s grip on Xi’s blood stained bahagian, atas loosened, Alpha was dead, Eve moved seterusnya to Xi and put her arm around Xi’s shoulder, Fletcher stood up, still holding Eve’s sword and turned to where Cealan stood, but the only thing that stood there now was the darkness of the tunnel.
The Doctor and Arthur had finished cleaning the dust and burned wood off the TARDIS, Arthur had never seen the TARDIS before so he was really excited about it but then he knew not to tunjuk that because Xi had also finished burying Alpha’s body and marking his grave using the earth element, Arthur turned to see Xi and Eve returning from the grave, Eve held Xi’s hand they were followed sejak Skulduggery, Valkyrie and Fletcher, “right then” berkata the Doctor to Xi “you ready”, Xi nodded, his free hand held the handle of his sword, Eve had her sword strapped to her back, both and Arthur walked into the TARDIS and Fletcher started to walk towards it when Valkyrie took hold of his arm “where are anda going?” she asked
“Going with Xi”
“Why?”
“Because there is nothing left for me here” and with that Fletcher went into the TARDIS, followed sejak the Doctor who closed the door and the TARDIS disappeared in front of Valkyrie and Skulduggery “Ghastly is never going to believe going to believe this" berkata Skulduggery.
