Supernatural Zach doesn't care what will happen to the humans. Does that make anda wonder how many different branches of heaven are out there?

so there's Zach's we want the apocalypse party which you can probably call heavens forces, Uriel's let's free our brother union and maybe a few who like humans enough to see more in them then ants stamped on their path...
..wonder if there's something like a prison or a court in heaven or if angels who have left their path just get executed..otherwise maybe Cas and Anna will met again up there and be able the flee..

SG1-090 picked not really:
I've been thinking this for a while, since Uriel started killing other angels and we knew that Anna and almost Cas had strayed from the path set up by the "higher angels".

Angels are soliders, unfeeling (most of the time) but they do have different opinions - what kept them together was faith but obviously as Lucifer and other angels fell they can lose their faith and Uriel wanted Lucifer back and Cas said only 4 angels "knew" god exsisted so heaven isn't unified.

I'm not sure what you mean. I think there are the superiors who run the show and the grunts who take orders. I think Uriel knew what his superiors wanted and was acting on their orders, whereas Castiel was ignorant. It was Uriel's job to convert the ignorant angels or eliminate them.

No i don't know about that. Uriel was talking about Lucifer being beautiful and wanting him back so that he could side with him because Uriel hates humans - in heaven or not - where are Zach wants paradise doesn't care about humans and wants Lucifer defeated in the end. Plus as long as angels follow orders they don't get killed - so why would Zach want all those angels killed when they continued to follow orders. They might not have known the arch angel plan to let lucifer rise but we have no idication that they would have rebelled if they knew - Uriel wasn't asking them to let Lucifer rise he was asking them to side with Lucifer - or that's my understanding. Then they didn't so he killed they - but at the time they where still following orders so it wouldnt' make sense for Uriel to be ordered to kill them.

Oh yeah, that's true- he did seem to be enamored of Lucifer, didn't he? And he tried to help Alastair kill Dean. If he was working for Zachariah, then he wouldn't have done that.

But just on a sidenote, although I don't think Uriel was following Zach's orders, I still think that Zach giving orders to have angels killed isn't out of the realm of possibility. Regardless of whether or not those angels were still following orders, if they were "tested" and found to be adamantly opposed to the apocalypse (regardless of their feelings on Lucifer), they would be considered potential rebels who could cause trouble for Zach. He'd have them eliminated before they knew what hit them.

Wow, great answers, SG1-090 and fanfly! I don't know about "branches" of heaven, but it does have its hierarchy, as does Hell. I agree with SG1-090 that many of them have lost their faith and are questioning the existence of God because only four angels have supposedly seen Him. Their efforts to have Lucifer freed/bring on the apocalypse/raise their brother have so far been unimpeded, but I think they're in for a rather large surprise before the end. :))
