	fanfly picked Kind off.: Castiel's intentions were good but his actions deeply flawed. It was arrogant to consume all of those souls and his actions afterwards were deplorable. He did bring it on himself but that's not to say that he didn't deserve a chance to redeem himself. Castiel, at heart, is a good angel. But he's like a child in so many ways. His decision to not go to Dean for help with the war in heaven was an extremely bad one. Dean was his guide and without him Castiel got very lost.
