Brad decided to leave around 1 and get utama so his parents wouldn't worry. That night had been perfect. School was starting back, pantai was nice cool and life was going pretty good! The seterusnya morning I was woken up sejak someone coming in my room. They jumped right on bahagian, atas of my katil barley missing me. It was Brad. No brained there.
Hey, why are anda still asleep? Brad asked.
I'm not anymore. I responded.
Well then, why are anda not getting ready to go surfing? He asked.
I pressed my snooze button in my sleep. I told him while smiling.
Oh gotcha. Get up and put on your bathingsuit. Your mom made us breakfast and your board is in my truck. Brad said.
Thanks, sorry I didn't mean to sleep this late. I'll hurry. I said.
Alright, I'll be downstairs. He said.
Brad got off of the katil and left my room shutting the door behind him. I jumped out of katil looked at myself in the mirror
I had forgotten to take off my makeup from last night and my hair was in a messy bun that looked like a knot. When I was finished getting ready I could smell the lempeng, penkek that mom was cooking downstairs.
He sleepy head. Mom berkata as I entered the kitchen.
anda know most people aren't even awak yet. So I'm no sleepy head. I told her.
And it was true. It was about 3:30 am. My family plus Brad always woke up early to go surfing before school atau work. Well it was just mainly Wave and I that would wake up and early to go surfing but mom learned that she needed to amke us breakfast.
After we ate, Brad and I left for our morning surf with Wave following us in his truck. Wave always drove himself so me and him could leave directly from the pantai to our house to take showers and then to go to school. Well Brad usually picked me up for school but anda get the idea. After surfing Wave and I hurried utama to take showers for school. Before I was ready Brad was at my house saying it was time To go. I hurried to get ready and threw on my kaki shorts and my white fishing shirt. I loved living at the pantai because anda can pretty much wear anything and not get weird stairs. Like your bathing suit under your clothes.

When we got to school Brad and I went our separate ways. We both had different classes.
Bye. Thanks for going surfing with me this morning. I'll see anda after school. I said.
No problem. Let's go for ice cream afterwards. Okay? He asked.
Sure. I said.
He kissed me on the cheek and then we went our own ways.
My first class was American history , saat was chemistry amd then geometry and after that was lunch. After lunch I had gym, literature and health then I was done for the day. I went over to Brad's truck and saw him talking to a bunch of friends.
hei guys. I said.
I wrapped my arm around Brad but he pushed off and didn't say a word to me. He continued his conversation with the guys and when they left he basically jumped down my throat.
What the hell, Oceana? He asked tellig just a little bit.
What are anda talking about? I asked.
We had never fought before.
Putting your arm around me in front of the guys. He said.
Umm, I do it all the time. anda never seemed to mind before. I said.
Youre getting to clingy. He said.
I'm sorry, I didn't know. I said.
Oh whatever. anda knew. He said.
Honestly Brad, I didn't know. I said.
Whatever. He said.
Look, why are anda so upset? I asked.
You're just always there. I never get guy time atau alone time. He said.
Oh, why didn't anda ever say anything? I Asked.
Because I didn't want anda to take it personally but it's gone to far now. He said.
I'm sorry. I didn't realize that. I said.
I was in tears just from fighting. He had never even raised his voice at me before.
Look, here us the only thing I can think of. He took a deep breath and said. Let's take a break
Umm okay. Just drip my board off at the house. I said.
Why can't anda just take it now.? He asked.
Because I'm at school right now. I berkata raising my voice enough for Brad to tell.
Whatever. It's over. Brad berkata
He got in his car and started to drive off.
I want my stuff back. All of it too. He said.
Okay. I barely managed to choke out.
He drove leaving me standing in the school parking lot alone.
I started my way towards the house. I was going to call someone Rockne pick ke up but I left my phone in Brad's car.
I passed the pantai when I was walking home. The lifeguards were still there. I knew a couple of them just from my surfing accidents. They were a lifesaver. No kidding. This one time they had to come get me on the jet ski because all of these jellyfish started coming in with the tide amd I kept getting stung. If I get too many jellyfish stings, I start getting allergic to them. Like I got stung across my chest that same time and it made it hard to breath. Then another time I got stung in the foot sejak a ikan pari, pari and Luke had to come and get me. I was freaking about and hyperventilating.
But back to real life now. I arrived at the pantai and saw Luke my best guyfriend in the world. He was working as usual. There were a couple of surfers out there but it was Wave. I walked down the pantai some to where I was pretty good ways from each lifeguard tower on the beach. I sat there and looked at the beautiful ocean, the blue sky and the white fluffy clouds that had hints of merah jambu in them from the sunset. I sat there and thought about the great times I had with Brad. Like putt putt, going to parties together, surfing and just hanging out with each other. Everytime one of us were bored we could just call each other up to hang out atau go do something together. I sat there thinking and eventually felt a tear start sliding down my face. After that they just kept on flowing, they didn't stop. I didn't realize how late it was until I saw a lifeguard truck drive sejak shining lights on the sand. I just stared. My whole body was numb out of shock and coldness. That night was suppose to be the coldest bight I have ever seen it get too. It was going all the way down to 55 degrees. My guess it was only 60 but it was still way to cold to be in shorts and a thing fishing shirt. I kept staring straight ahead at the light that was coming towards me now.
Oceana, is that you? Someone was yelling.
I sat there and stared back.
Ocean its me Luke. Are anda okay? He asked.
Yeah, no not really. I choked out.
What's wrong? Tell me what hurts. Luke asked.
I'm fine. Brad broke up with me. I said.
Oh my goodness. Im glad that's all. He said.
I just looked at him.
Sorry, it is almost midnight. We have been looking for anda all day. Luke said.
Sorry I've been here since school let out. Isaid.
It's okay. Let's get anda home. He said.
Luke went and grabbed a blanket out of his truck and ran back towards me.
Here bungkus, balut this around you. He said.
This is Luke. I found Oceana. She is fine. Just a little cold. Luke berkata speaking into his walkie talkie.
Okay. The cari is over. Oceana is okay. 10-4
Luke took me utama where there were cars outside of my house. I noticed that Brad's truck was sitting in the driveway.
Why is he here? I asked Luke.
He was the last one who saw you, Ocean. He said.
Oh, umm I dint want to see him. I said.
Okay, I don't know if that will happen but u will try. Luke td me.
Luke came around to the passenger side of the truck and picked me up. He carried me into the house. I felt bad for sitting at the pantai all hari but I didn't realize I did.
Mom and dad both were freaking out and scared that something had happened. When luke carried me through the door, Wave came and took me out of Luke's arms. Wave loved me on the sofa, kerusi panjang and Brad was across the room looking at me with a concerned but I am going to kill anda kind of look. I got up and hugged mom and dad and told them sorry for not coming utama but someone left me at school. I berkata emphasizing someone making it nearly impossible to recognize the idiot sittig in the corner of the room. I hugged my parents and Wave and told them sorry again. I turned to Luke and thanked him for bringing me home. And he berkata it was no problem. I then turned to Brad who was still sitting in the same positions as he was when I was carried into the room. I looked at him for a saat and then turned and went upstairs to my bedroom.

I saw a box sitting in my bedroom floor when I opened the door. It had everything that I had lender him. I had always a pair of clothes in his truck, sunglasses and a pantai towel. I couldn't believe that we had broken up. I didn't know I was doing anything wrong. He never berkata anything. I took my things out of the box and when I got to the bottom of the box I saw a blue ponytail holder. From the hari I met him he asked if he could have one of my ponytail holders and I gave it to him wondering why he wanted it because he didnt have kong enough hair to out into a ponytail. I guess he wanted one just to wear. Maybe to think of me when I wasn't around. I left it in the box and put some CDs of his and his sweatshirt,one of his football jerseys and numerous of other items that I had forgotten was his. I didn't take the box downstairs even though I still knew that Brad was down there. I heard my dad talking to him. He kept asking why we broke up and if it was a mutual agreement but I didn't hear any of Brad's answer because he wasn't talking loud enough. I sat down at my meja and wrote Him a note.

Dear Brad,
I don't know why we had to break up. Everything was going great. I thought we always had fun together and I loved hanging out with you. Here is your stuff back. If I forgot anything just tell me and I will give it back. I know if anda would have told me the problem that was going on between us that we could have worked on it and still be together. anda will always be my first love. I will never forget anda nor what we had together.

I folded the letter up and stuck it in an envelope and wrote Brad on the front. I laid it on bahagian, atas of the the stuff in the box. I was getting sleepy so I decided that I needed to take a pancuran, pancuran mandian before bed. I jumped in washed and conditioned my hair, bathed and got out. I didn't bother drying my hair, it was too hot. I pulled my covers down and got in the middle of my katil and curled up while pulling the covers over my head.
The seterusnya morning I woke up and got ready for my usual morning surf. I saw my phone on my night stand and checked to see if I had any missed calls atau messages. Well other than the miss calls I had from my parents about last night wondering where I was, I didn't have any messages atau texts. I usually got a good morning text from Brad but remembering what had happened yesterday I remembered why I didn't have one. Once I was ready, I told mom that I was leaving and then started towards the beach. I went to the pantai with the lifeguards so I could thank Luke again for picking me up. When I got to the pantai the lifeguards were just setting things out. Luke was normally manning tower number 3 so I grabbed my stuff and headed towards tower 3. I was right too Luke was opening the windows to the the tower.
hei Luke. I said.
hei Ocean. How are ya? He asked.
Okay. I said. Umm thanks for picking me up last night. I was totally out of it. I berkata as I starred at the sand
It's fine and your welcome. He said.
I was still staring at the sand and Luke walked over and a wrapped his arms around me. Luke had me in a tight hug. I just collapsed and started crying. I had never been so hati, tengah-tengah broken in my entire life.
Shhh. It's okay, Ocean. He is a dumb keldai dint worry. Luke said.
I dint know what I did wrong. I told him through my tears.
It wasn't your fault. I know. He said.
How do anda know? I asked.
anda are never the trouble maker unless someone is doing something stupid and anda are trying to get them to stop. Luke said.
That's true. I berkata smiling just a tad bit.
You're going to be okay. He said.
I know, thank you. It just hit me. Last night I didn't believe that it had happen. I told him.
Yeah, it always takes a little while for the truth to sink in. He said.
Yeah, I guess so. I said.
Sorry, but I have to get back to work. We cantalk later though if anda want.
