I liked the film,but my husband didn't,he couldn't finish the movie cos he said he felt like he was trippin haha.I have always been a big fan of The Doors,was on their fan club for yrs,and i collected hats,buttons,pillows and many other things until they were stolen *sighs*

I loved the movie but I agree it was inaccurate in some ways. But Val Kilmer did amazing and he looked just like Jimmy.

It was a good movie. It was very loooong though. Gets hard to stay into it, you know...

And shit, Val Kilmer looked just like Jim! It was weird. But it made the movie even better. :)

My favourite movie! I agree a few bits were inaccurate but all the important things were there. Val Kilmer was amazing as jim, had all his mannerisms and speech spot on. was a bonus he looked so much like him!

no way. I was VERY unrealistic (based on the documentaries of the doors that ive seen) I dont think jim was like that at all...at least not all teh time. I believe he was a lot more than that but oliver stone didnt bother emphisizing his good qualities. I just really didnt like it at all. But I do think that mat dillon's brother is a lot hotter than him (and john densmore :D). I think anyone who really knows the doors and is a fan will agree with me

People who were friends with Jim say it is completely inaccurate and that Oliver Stone wasn't interested in portraying him truthfully. I think the character says more about Stone than Morrison, probably how he would act if he was a rock star.
