wisdomkid08 I'm actually really disappointed in this series. Don't get me wrong, I'm gonna continue to read it, but oh my GOODNESS The Elite ticked me off! The Selection started out okay, a little dull and superfluous at times, but a good read nonetheless. The Elite however...It made me brazenly hate America as a character, and there is so much pointless filler nonsense strewn through the novel just to take up space. I had assumed, as had most fans, that this would further the selection along by eliminating more than only one or two girls. And don't get me started on the love triangle, I really just don't even care anymore who she picks (it's obvious it'll be Maxon), it's just America's reactions regarding every aspect of her relationships. She BLOWS UP at Maxon for kissing Celseste-WHICH HE IS OBLIGATED TO DO, while, all this time SHE has been infidel. It's just irritating. Still I'm looking forward to the next book. I hope it can elevate the series past the horrible level Elite dragged it down to...
