OK I am contemplating 2 options right now as to what to do.

1)just give up on my sims 2 and buy the sim3

2) i have never been big on getting expansion packs so i might go out and buy used ones.

what should i do.

are there things that anda could do in the sims 2 that anda can't do in the sim3? how about items that anda miss. etc.

i don't particularly care about the customization of the sims and furniture. That is cool but it is not convincing me to buy.

as well, i am going to be playing on a mid range laptop. and i am just fitting into the requirements. so anyone playing on a laptop how is that going?

However sims 3 needs a high video card, if i were anda i would choose the sims 3, if anda have the128mb card. anda can not get bored off it, there is so many different types of people to interact with and new stuff to do!

Just look at it this way, anda could buy the Sims 3 and eventually grow tired of it, atau anda could buy two ExPacks for The Sims 2 for the same amount of money and stay entertained for longer. Just an idea. The Sims 3 is overpriced in my opinion.
