My body shakes despite the heat of the Atlanta summer. My hati, tengah-tengah races at hearing the explosion in the distance. My vision is blurred from tears. I can’t think straight.
“Where are we gonna go? “I ask, my voice shaking. No one hears me though. Carl is looking out the other window and Mom is sobbing silently into her hands. Rick is driving while Lori whispers to him soothingly. “How can anda be cold?” Carl asks quietly. I realize my shaking and chills have increased. “I’m scared.” I say.
