Once they entered the elevators and back to the levels where the offices were, they walked sejak the boardroom and Summer noticed that Jack was alone so she figured that was the perfect time to tell both of them her idea. “Jack? Kyle? I had an idea on how we could get our door into the fashion world and expand our clientele plus get lebih people to buy our products.” Summer started.
“What is your idea, my love?” Kyle asked.
“I have a connection in the fashion industry. She is a designer who works at one of the bahagian, atas companies in the industry plus a very close friend of mine. This friend of mine is designing my dress for the Newman Enterprises 50th Anniversary gala. Her name is Steffy Forrester and the name of her family’s company is Forrester Creations. I was thinking that maybe I could talk to Steffy about a partnership between us and her family’s company when I fly to Los Angeles to meet with Steffy to get measured for my dress.”
“That sounds like a good idea. We have been trying to expand even lebih for the future of not only our company but especially our family.” Jack informed Summer.
“Do I get to see what your dress looks like for the Newman Enterprises 50th Anniversary gala atau will it be a secret as well like your wedding dress?” Kyle asked.
“Of course. My dress for the party is the only one that anda can see because the party is before our wedding.”
Summer’s dress for the party would be green and floor length plus had a V neck. She had arranged to have a smaller version of her dress for the party to be made for Nicole since she was going with them to the anniversary gala. “How come Nicole will be the only child at the party while Faith, Christian, Conner, Johnny, and Katie aren’t allowed at the party?” Kyle asked.
“Nicole is the only child allowed because she’s the first great-grandchild not to mention the fact that ours is the only union between a Newman and an Abbott that Grandpa supports. We will have to remind her to stay sejak our side and the side of our family members because there will be a lot of people there who will sort of be strangers to her. I just hope that nothing bad happens at the party. I’ve been asked to give a speech and I’ll probably be spending time in our utama office working on it.”
Before they knew it, the time had come for Kyle to start implementing his plans for Summer’s birthday. However, they also had to host their housewarming and engagement party first. Since they both came from legacy families, they made sure that theirs had the best of everything. They had also explained to Nicole that she couldn’t use their pool unless she asked them for permission since they were her parents and they wanted her to be safe. On the hari of the party, all three of them ended up watching a movie in their utama movie theatre while the caterers and everyone else set up. After the set-up was done and the crews had left, Summer and Nicole went into her bedroom where Summer helped their daughter change into her swim clothes. Once she had finished helping Nicole change, Summer then entered her bedroom that she shared with Kyle to change.
