"I'm coming!" Thirteen yelled as she slowly made her way to the door.
"House? What are anda doing here?"
"I know you're on maternity leave and are due in a few weeks so I thought I'd stop by..."
"I'm okay. Really...I'm not alone. My Dad and Step-mom are coming in to town tomorrow to help me."
House limped to the sofa, kerusi panjang and sat down.
"Has Foreman been by?"
"Yeah, he comes sejak at least once a hari to see if I need anything...He brought these snacks for me." She berkata pointing to a basket filled with popcorn, madeline's,fruit,crackers, and dark Chocolate truffles.
"Wow. sejak the way he went all out you'd think he was trying to woo anda back." He berkata with a knowing gaze. Thirteen shrugged her shoulders and joined him on the couch.
"He's trying but I don't want him in that way anymore...But I think he'll be a good dad. He's been happier since finding out."
"Yeah, he has..."
"Why are anda really here?" She asked as she placed a bantal behind her lower back. House sighed and propped his feet up on the coffee table.
"I was in the area and thought I'd stop by."
She chuckled to herself.
"Yeah, that sounds like you..."
"Okay. I needed a break from the case, the team, Luddy..."
"Luddy?"
"Lucas and Cuddy mixed together creates Luddy. Not the most attractive name..."
"So, anda are in Cinta with her." Thirteen stated as she traced her belly. House looked down at her stomach and then up at her slightly swollen face.
"Maybe...You know you've been happier too since the bambino." He berkata with a thoughtful smile.
Thirteen smiled and placed her hand against his cheek. House was surprised sejak the gesture, especially coming from Thirteen, but he accepted anyway.
"I am happier. anda know this pregnancy is a huge risk but the best Cinta comes with a risk. anda take risks in everything else anda do. Why not take a risk with your hati, tengah-tengah too?" She asked him as she released his cheek.
"She's moved on."
"No. She hasn't. She wants to. She wishes she could, but she hasn't. I can tell and so can everyone else..."
House smiled sadly and gestured to her belly.
"May I?"
Thirteen smiled in surprise and pulled his hand down to rest on her stomach.
"He kicked!" She exclaimed. House grinned.
"The kid seems like a fighter." He berkata as he felt the subtle vibrations against his hand.
"Well, it takes one to know one." She berkata as she placed a hand on his shoulder. House nodded in thanks.
