I don't really think of any couple when I hear "mistake". But if I had to choose one... I guess Brucas. Just because I think their whole relationship was one big mistake, because of how wrong they were for each other. They gave things a try like 3 times, only to ultimately fail each time.

The writers only put Dan and Blair together so Blair would realize that she really wanted to be with Chuck. Now, the writers have to deal with supporters of Dair, and are going to have to bring them back in some way next season just to keep those people happy. But of course Blair will ultimately end up with Chuck, we've been all but guaranteed that.
