Well, here we are. From one extremely short tajuk to yet another extremely short title, we find ourselves with a game that is actually ten minit shorter than 198X, and wouldn’t anda know it, I enjoy it far lebih than that other game? Now why is that? Could it be that, despite the smaller budget and less resources, it could create a vastly lebih interesting story and world? The answer is yes. So let’s talk about Planet RIX-13

The game starts with a nameless, faceless astronaut as he crash lands on a strange planet. Apparently, there were people on the planet, but they are all gone now. anda have two options. anda can find out what happened to the people on the planet and why they were here in the first place, atau anda can just leave. What anda do from the start of the game is all up to you. I can always admire a game that doesn’t feed anda a hundred different things at once and just jumps into the gameplay. Context is good, but come on, I got other indie games to play. And let me tell you, the art style is pretty good. Sure, it’s no Blasphemous atau anything, but it still has a lot of charm to it. Even if anda can have your character floating on the ground like a ghost if anda just tap the analog stick, which is pretty funny. What anda will mostly be doing is trying to solve puzzles to unlock one area and continue to another. The puzzle will rarely be solved in the same area, so anda gotta explore and find a way to get through it, usually sejak going to new locations and picking up clues from there. It’s easy, but it does offer a lot of exploration and mood setting. There’s also not a lot of Muzik in the game, atau even any ambience on the alien planet. The only sound is your footsteps on the rumput atau in the metal plated floors of the labs. It could be considered boring, but I think it adds to the lonely, creepy atmosphere of the planet. And that creepy atmosphere pays off when anda eventually start finding corpses around the lab and blood. And that’s when the game really starts to pick up.
Again, anda can just leave the planet once anda have all the parts anda need, but if anda want, anda can choose to explore, unlock lebih areas, solve lebih puzzles, and find out what caused the lab assistants to die and go crazy. The game does have a lot of backtracking and it does make me wish anda could run faster rather than have your character slowly walk, but at least he isn’t running out of breath every two saat like in Uncanny Valley. When anda do find lebih clues lying around, ones pointing to something far greater than anything man made, the game starts to change the effects of your surroundings. Is it a sanity effect atau perhaps the world shifting. I don’t know. Everything in Planet RIX-13 is up to interpretation and I do enjoy that. And at the end of it all, I won’t spoil what happens, but it does create an interesting look into one of my kegemaran styles of horror. Uh, do note that the effects of picking up clues can have some issues. It did mess up on my screen and it hurt to look at after a while, but after resetting the game, it worked again. The game autosaves frequently so anda won’t have to worry about losing a ton of progress.
Planet RIX-13 was a game I thought I would have very little to talk about, but I walked away with quite a few thoughts about it. It’s far from the most revolutionary indie game out there and it can be considered a walking simulator, but it does just enough to interest me, and it is sold for pretty cheap. It’s like a dollar ninety nine and I got it for even cheaper on a sale, so maybe look into this game if anda want something that doesn’t hold your hand and let’s anda think of the story lebih rather than tell you.

I think one of my kegemaran things about indie games (Aside from the sheer passion of creators that want to do their own thing) is the visuals they go for. From Hollow Knight’s charming dot eyed art to the amazing hand drawn movements of Skullgirls to the old 30s cartoon aesthetic of Cuphead, all of these games have an art style that drew me to them and made me want to play these games. But hey, a simple cel shading can also appeal to me. And that brings us to Lethal League Blaze

Starting out as a flash game called Lethal League (Which anda can apparently play on the PS4 store now), Lethal...

Already, everyone, I’m gonna level with you. I haven’t been out of my house in three weeks. I haven’t seen the son, I only leave my room to eat atau use the bathroom, and I’ve been glued to my chair for so long that it has left a permanent mark of my ass. And why is it that I have been in such a horrid state? Because I’ve been playing nothing but Slime Rancher.

Where do I even begin to talk about a game such as this. This is a game that feels so well crafted and so perfectly made that anda can feel the developers Cinta and care in it. They make kemaskini frequently for the game and...

Let this indie tajuk be a lesson to anyone wanting to review games, if anda play a game weeks atau even months in advance before anda actually talk about it, always go back to it, especially if it’s an online title. Cause it may change things so much that it will also change your entire opinion, either for the worse atau for the better. Thankfully, this is for the better.

So to elaborate, I am not a peminat of online shooters. I played a bit of Team Fortress 2 back in the day, but never got too crazy into it, played online modes of CoD 4 and Halo, but not excited. And Overwatch makes me wanna...
