At least Anna wasn't shut up in her room all those years. She also didn't have to suffer the guilt of almost killing her sister (twice by the end of the film!)

Anna being locked up inside the castle is a plot hole itself.

Easily.

Far and away. While Anna might have been bored or lonely, Elsa was emotionally abused by her parents for thirteen years, was forced into living alone in her bedroom just because she's different from the rest of the world, (Which seems like a metaphor for the LBTG community, who's parents disown them for something they can't change about themselves.) was chased off by her own kingdom, almost killed by a bunch of guards when when finally had a taste of freedom, constantly is called a monster through the movie, and went through the emotional pain of thinking she killed her own sister who's she's been protecting (In Elsa's own way) all those years. Anna might have had the metaphorical door closed on her face a few times, but what was happening behind that door for Elsa just isn't on the same level.

Also, although this is off topic from the poll, I love those pictures! Anna and Elsa have my two favorite eye colors of the Disney princesses and I love how the blue shines on their faces!

Because her powers made her guilty for everything Anna was going through, they harmed her reputation a lot, and her parents weren't exactly giving her very practical advice about how to handle things. They discouraged her from actually figuring out how to control her abilities by telling her to hide them instead! Gees.

Of course I feel sorry for Anna too, but only because it was lonely for her growing up. With Elsa, I feel sorry for her for that and for other things too.

I hardly feel sorry for Elsa. She made her own situation like that. And stop blaming her parents! She overreacted when her father tried to help her. Elsa is all about her power, no personality except for fear. In reality, what is that??? Anna is more realistic. I get that oldest sibling can be aloof to the younger ones.

Anna. Anna had been lonely for years
