There have been some memorable ones: when I was attending elementary school there was a HUGE one that went over our house at night and demolished a company building just across the street from my school. There was also one on the day of my grandmother's funeral, and one on my 21st birthday. Luckily I'm one of those people that get excited at the sight of stormy weather.

i live in scotland. we don't get tornados. where i live we don't even get storms - just rain.

ive never actually seen one firsthand but i ride my bike past the aftereffects frequently, we get small tornadoes in my area, nothing newsworthy, but we still get them.

Yes I have. And for all of you people saying I want to, most dangerous tornadoes leave a trail of pain and misery in their wake. That's not very cool when you consider how many people could have just died, been injured, or had their entire lives demolished because Mother Nature decided it would be funny to destroy their house.

Never, but I want to be a part time storm chaser. So I guess I'll see a tornado before long. But I have seen three of four funnel clouds.

I had one in a town where I live, and I have a picture of it, It was taken in 2010.
It was nowhere close to my house, which I'm glad. I live in CT.
