	candrani picked No, the way Alyson plays her makes up a huge part of her character: I once read an article where it was implied that Riff was replaced because she wasn't pretty enough, but I don't believe that for a second. Yes, Alyson is prettier but I've seen the unaired pilot with Riff and she simply wasn't as good. Much of the sweetness and lightness Alyson put into the character wasn't there, and to be honest, if Riff had stayed I don't think I would have liked Willow very much. posted hampir setahun yang lalu.

	Dragonclaws picked I'm sure I'd like her, but I wouldn't have become such a big peminat: The original pilot was terrible. Everyone's acting was bad. The special effects were bad. Joss is embarrassed by it. I don't think the pilot is a good representation of the show in general. It's possible that Riff Regan could have done an awesome job as Willow in the main series, but Alyson Hannigan does such an awesome job that it's hard to compete. I haven't seen Riff Regan in anything else, so I don't really know how she would compare. posted hampir setahun yang lalu.

No Aly, no chemistry between Willow and Tara, no complications with Oz, no confidence booster, no season 6 Big Bad, no relationship with Kennedy (which, on its own, wouldn't be great) and, in turn, no final episode white hair goddess-thingy, and no "every girl is a slayer" spiel. So, in short, Buffy depended on Willow- and having Alyson Hannigan cast as Willow is possibly the best thing Joss Whedon has ever done. posted hampir setahun yang lalu.
