Now, I Cinta RPGs. They are quite possibly my kegemaran genre of gaming. They have fun combat, amazing stories, and great characters…. Eh, some of the time. While there are loads of awesome characters in RPGs like Chrono, Cloud, atau hell, even Mario if anda include Super Mario RPG, there are those characters that are just… odd. Now, before we begin the list, let us start off with the rules. First off, I am only including these characters from RPGs that I have played. So, no Witcher, Dragon Age, Legend of Dragoon, Secret of Mana, Shining Force, Phantasy Star, atau Skyrim… Yeah, no Skyrim. I don’t care if there are loads of crazy characters, I haven’t played that one, so none from that game will be here. Also, only one character per franchise, so I can only include one character from the game. And trust me, with Final Fantasy, that was harder than anda think. Now, with all that berkata and done, let us start the list.
#10: Happy Happyism from Earthbound
Now, I know that this is a group of characters instead of just one single character, but still, these guys are just weird. First off, let me just say that Earthbound is a Nintendo game, and yet, the Happy Happyism is a cult… Yeah, that’s already weird enough, but the other things these guys are known for is that they have a crazy obsession with the color blue. Their goal in life is to paint everything in the world blue, and anda even see a cow painted blue. They also chant the word blue seven times a hari as well as once before bed. Also, color these guys white and tell me what anda see…. Yeah. Just remember we are only at the number ten spot
#9: Teddie from Persona 4
Now, how could someone so adorable be odd… Lots of reasons. In the Shadow World, Teddie is nothing lebih than a walking talking menanggung, bear costume that can have his head removed from his body due to it being unzipped. He also has some obsession with using really REALLY bad menanggung, bear puns. You’d think puns would have died out sejak now, but no, Teddie brought them back. Oh, but it gets even weirder. Once he arrives in the human world, he is able to become a real boy Pinocchio style. But, it gets weirder, because now, as a human, he grows to have a very perverted obsession with all of the female characters, like Chie, Yukiko, Rise, and Naoto. It gets REALLY unhealthy, like spying on them when they take a bath, breaking into their bedrooms and sleeping seterusnya to them, and even winning a cross-dressing contest just so he could turn the girls beauty pageant into a baju renang contest. Hopefully, this is the only pervert on the list.
#8: Capelle from Infinite Undiscovery
Now, this games story is all too confusing. I mean ending to Evangelion level of confusing. Thankfully, I won’t talk about the story much, just the weird and pathetic young boy that is Capelle. Capelle is the FARTHEST thing from the Brave main character of an RPG. All Capelle is is some wimpy flute player who was mistaken for Sigmund, the leader of a group of rebels. All Capelle can do is get involved with the rebellion, while fighting alongside children who are braver than he is, constantly try to get “anything” from some girl who likes him, to dancing with children when the word makan malam, majlis makan malam is mentioned… This was actually a thing that happened. But on the saat disk, his personality takes a goddamn U turn after some girl dies, and he becomes a violent sociopath who now fights like a Brave warrior. Hell, even his voice got deeper in the course of twelve seconds. I mean, is he a flute playing pansy atau is he a badass killing machine. Make up your mind, Capelle.
#7: Mel from Fallout 3
I think we may have found the greatest loser in the wasteland. Mel was a mugger who was thrown out of his bandit camp for being too much of a wimp, so now he roams the wasteland, trying and failing to mug people. At some point in the game, Mel will try to rob you. But here’s the thing. He will try to rob anda with an unloaded shotgun. He also stammers lebih than Porky Pig and if anda simply talk to him with the right words, anda could make him run off like a coward, if anda are a mugger, and anda are so threatened sejak simple words, that anda run off in fear, than anda deserve to be ridiculed and laughed at. I hope Mel is happy knowing he’s lebih of a loser than Capelle, and that’s saying something.
#6: Garbodor from Pokemon
What the hell is this thing, Game Freak. Like, were anda even trying. Sure, Chandelure is just chandelier, but he was still awesome. And sure, Klefki was just a set of goddamn keys, but he was pretty tough. And Vanillish at least had somewhat of a purpose. With Garbodor, he is both figuratively and literally a pile of garbage. Ignoring his crappy design, he has some pretty bad states and attacks. Not to mention his name. His name is a mix of the words garbage and odor. It’s almost as if the sight of a disgusting ripped trash bag wasn’t enough to prove our point. At least Trubbish was adorable. This guy is just… Eugh.
#5: Flea from Chrono Trigger
Okay, now, before anda all start making assumptions of this girl, let me get one thing out of the way…. This character… is actually a guy…. I am not joking. This is one of the most feminine looking characters I have ever seen in a video game, and he turns out to be a man. Like, what even? Hell, this guy looks so feminine, that even the main characters of the game are shocked to find out he’s a man. He also happens to be a wizard that fires some pretty touch magic spells. Sure, that’s cool and all, but there is an item anda can get from him known as Flea Bustier, and as it turns out, this item is only able to be used on women. This is nothing lebih than women’s clothing… I always felt like my RPG was missing a cross-dressing transvestite wizard. It just fits in so naturally.
#4: Tommy from Fable 2
ARE anda SERIOUS!? Even western RPGs have cross-dressers in them. Tommy is basically a guy who lives in a small cave in Oakfield, who was raised sejak Hobbes, small goblin like creatures that eat people. Tommy believed that all Hobbes dressed in women’s clothing, so he began stealing women’s clothes and began cross-dressing. When anda meet him, he will tell anda that Hobbes have been swarming his cave and he wants anda to go and get rid of them. As it turns out, this is actually just a trap so that anda could get killed sejak Hobbes. Once anda kill them all, Tommy will come after anda and try to kill you. And since he is a civilian, and I had upgraded literally everything sejak that point in the game, anda can tell that the fight against Tommy was just SO challenging. But, seriously, what is it with RPGs and having cross-dressers. I mean, do what anda wanna do, that’s your thing, but… Do they really need to be used THIS MUCH?
#3: Sheogorath from Elder Scrolls: Oblivion
I could have put literally anyone from the Shivering Isles on this list. From creepy guys who like dogs, to people who are paranoid of falling objects, to the main villain, Jyggalag? Jesus, pick the most confusing name ever, why don’t you? But I think the one who takes the cake is none other than the king himself, Sheogorath. This guy is, no joke, the king of crazy town, and for good reason. He’s so crazy, he actually drives others to insanity, He also enjoys a lot of violence, from wanting strangle people with their intestines when he is happy, play with his organs, and eating brain pie. He also has an unhealthy obsession with cheese, to which I reply “... Okay”. He will also teleport anda to some bone pit and kill anda if anda attack him… So obviously, don’t attack him.
#2: Fawful from Mario and Luigi
Oh my goodness, is this guy hilarious. Fawful only appeared in the three Mario and Luigi games, but no matter how much he was in, he was always hilarious. Fawful is based off of those bad English translations of Japanese games way back in the eighties and early nineties. So, anda can imagine that he says some of the funniest lines in gaming history. From saying I have chortles, I have fury, and the mustard of your doom. I have no idea what any of this means, but god, I Cinta it. It’s the funniest thing ever. He was only in three Mario games, and yet, he has been able to become a peminat favorite, and for good reasons. He is funny, random, and sejak god, he is probably one of the most strangest RPG characters of all time… but not the utmost weird. It should be obvious who the number one weirdest character is, but, here he is anyway.
#1: Kefka from Final Fantasi VI
Come on, anda all know who it was going to be. Kefka is literally the Japanese version of The Joker. And I am not kidding. He is a psychotic clown who enjoys nothing lebih than destruction, whose popularity has gotten so amazing, that it rivals that of Sephiroth. In Final Fantasi VI, he is basically seen carrying out the king’s orders, but secretly plans for his destruction behind his back. Before Kefka, most Final Fantasi villains were just heartless cold bastards. But Kefka came along, becoming the loveable douchebag clown we all know and Cinta to hate. He has no care for human life, makes dozens of jokes involving death, and only enjoys causing death and chaos. His profil in Final Fantasi Dissidia even states that he lacks self-control. Kefka’s goal is to become a god of chaos. Pretty much like Discord, but even lebih humerous. However, unlike literally every villain in literature, Kefka actually succeeds. Imagine that, a villain succeeding in his goal. That blows my mind, I’m surprised the same game that had the unoriginal crappy villain that is Ex-Death managed to make something as awesome as Kefka. He’s psychotic, sadistic, can’t even control his own mind, and yet, is still the great Final Fantasi villain, as well as the weirdest RPG character of all time.
So, there anda have it. Did anda enjoy the list? Tell me what anda thought of it below. With that said, I will see anda all seterusnya time.
#10: Happy Happyism from Earthbound
Now, I know that this is a group of characters instead of just one single character, but still, these guys are just weird.
