So it’s clear that I enjoy FromSoftware games on this list, if you’ve been following me for long enough. I did a senarai on the best Dark Souls bosses, and talk about Dark Souls 1 and 2 regularly. But now is the time for me to talk about the latest, and possibly last entry in the franchise, and one of my favorite, despite having not completed it like the sebelumnya 2, Dark Souls III
Dark Souls III takes place in a different land entirely, with instead of following the Chosen Undead, we are following the Unkindled One. What’s the difference… Fuck if I know. All I know is that the Unkindled One is tasked with collecting the four Lord Souls of the four great rulers, all so he can get to the first flame and make a choose of relighting the flame to keep the flames of the gods keep going atau let it die and let the world be blocked sejak shadow. Wait a second, this is just the first games story again. anda can’t fool me Dark Souls III. But how does the world of this game compare? Well, the game is just as ominous, and just as empty feeling. Characters anda meet will all eventually die, one way atau another, all for some fruitless quest (Except Patches. Patches never dies). All of the bosses anda fight were once these mighty gods, rulers, atau creatures, but have been reduced to murderous monsters atau are fighting to keep anda away from something far worse. And is this game as hard and as brutal as the first game? It has its moments, sure, but I feel that this game is a much easier experience than the first two games. Not that I think that’s a bad thing. It could just be because of years and years of getting beat down and built back up thanks to the first two games. The bosses in this game also feel much lebih grandiose and amazing to fight. The Muzik really incorporates these giant fallen legends that are ready to fight to the death. While I like some bosses in Dark Souls 1 more, there aren’t any terrible bosses in 3 like there were in 1 *Cough* katil of Chaos. The fight with the princes, Lothric and Lorian were incredible, the battle with the Abyss Watchers was an amazing boss to open your eyes, the dual with Iudex Gundyr was a great first battle, and Nameless King. Oh man, if anda feel like the game is too easy, go fight Nameless King. He will wreck you.
I do think that Dark Souls III isn’t as amazing as the first game, but it still has it’s amazing moments and I still Cinta the world building, the boss fights, and the characters anda meet along the way, and that will never change. I look ke hadapan to what FromSoftware has in the future, no matter how much times it kicks my ass.
