So, after 6 years of being here…I just realized I never telah diposkan on artikel on my own personal club. It’s just that it never crossed my mind to post an artikel (not that I write much artikel-artikel anyways) on here and I never got a topic to post about (I’m not the one to write about my kegemaran movies, media and things, I don’t do that). So today I decided to write an artikel for myself, and it’s about how I discovered and joined Fanpop. I don’t know how I remember every detail of this, but I certainly do.
When I was in middle school, in grade 7th, me and my Friends became obsessed with anime. We would talk and discuss about different animes, our kegemaran characters and watch many of them together. One of my close Friends at that time recommended me an Anime called ‘Angel Beats!’ I saw the first episode and fell in Cinta with the anime. I immediately searched about in online so I could save foto-foto and share it with my friends. One of the foto-foto was from this site. I was intrigued sejak the name ‘Fanpop’ and clicked on the foto which redirected me to Angel Beats Fanclub on here. I saw people uploading images, videos, links, and artikel-artikel in the peminat club. There were tinjauan-tinjauan where people were giving their opinions and commenting. Also, the forum and peminat-peminat Penulisan on the wall….it was so cool. 12-year-old me was very fascinated. I had never seen such a site like this before, all of this was new to me. Fanpop seemed quite amazing. I decided that I should sign in and create an account as I wanted to have fun too. And that’s how………. I joined Fanpop.
While I’m here, I wanna give a shout-out to my very first peminat on here who added me on their peminat senarai first (I didn’t know anything about adding and peminat senarai thing back then). It was Chibi-Chipette. Thank anda Chibi-Chipette for being my first fan!
This tahun marks my 6 years on being here. It’s a very mixed experience, but I had my fun and made few good Friends who remember me even now and always welcome me whenever I stop by. I’ve temporarily moved on from this site and only come when I remember about my account that exists on here. Fanpop has become a nostalgic place for me, where I relive my memories from my childhood, the conversations I had with my friends, the komen-komen I wrote on, the content I uploaded on different clubs. Everything gives me a glimpse of how I was when I was just a teenager having fun and spending so much time on here without a care for the world. Things have drastically changed, I’m no longer teenager, I’m a young adult now and I have to set my priorities straight and take my responsibilities of life as it comes by.
In the end, I will say and I never regretted my decision atau the time I spent on here. If anything, I’m glad I discovered Fanpop and joined it. I can say without any hesitation that it was worth it. All the laughs, all the smiles, the props, the medals, the friends…it will be always worth it.
