Was king Bumi already a member of the Order of the White Lotus when Aang first went to Omashu? Why didn't he thought of teaching Aang earthbending then?

I am a Kataang fan, mainly because of how shy and clueless Aang is when it comes to Love. But in Promise/search, I dun see that blushing n 'I'm an idiot!' Aang anymore. I sort of miss that. Wonder if there's anyone who feels the same way.

Aang being an air nomad was brought up in a temple without a family structure. Katara grew up in a water tribe where family is v impt. Wonder how r their children brought up.

why would api, kebakaran lord sozin want to kill all air nomads? He just need to kill all 12yrs olds. Even if he killed the avatar, won't he just be reborn to water?

Avatar extras suggested that Katara kissed Jet. I re-watch and re-watch but did not see. I also did not sense that Aang was jealous in anyway. Did I miss something?

Katara only started to 'look at' Aang romantically after the Fortune teller. But did Aang like Katara from the moment they met?Did Aang take Katara as a playmate since the other children refused to play with him after they know he's avatar?

Though Aang had mastered all 4 elements at the end of the series, in my opinion, he is still not a better waterbender than Katara, a better api, kebakaran than Zuko and a better earth than Toph. What do u people think?
