Cinderella always saw the good in people and she never gave up on anyone so that's why I love her relationship with Anastasia

I love that Cinderella was able to forgive Anastasia, but it's hard for me... The ripped-dress scene keeps popping into my head.

Cinderella easily forgave years of physical and verbal abuse by Anastasia, and Ariel doesn't seem to care about her sisters a whit. All we're shown in the original movie is her blowing them off and leaving them forever without thinking twice about it.

Merida at least gets along with her brothers despite the double-standard in treatment from their parents, and is liked by them since they enjoy hearing the same story from her that they're bored listening to from their father, and she sneaks them sweets.

Definitely. Ariel didn't seems to be very close with her sisters, and we all knew how the stepsister treated Cinderella (well Anastasia changes in the sequel but still that doesn't make their relationship better)
