Why are most young people nowadays so stupid?

Because there are no standards in our society anymore, so they believe that since they can get away with everything, there's no point in growing up. The government pretty much supports this too, in giving money to some people who don't deserve it.

This is the soalan that I have been wondering about for the past 6 years, and I'm 14!

Because the fear of God and learning about Jesus and knowing that anda are someone important but anda have rules to follow. People now are taught that there are no rules, anda cannot judge people, if anda say something against a homosexual anda are wrong and a homophone. They are told they have to take Flu shots, Tetanus shots, measles shots. WHY? If anda get the flu, did anda know that in about a week you'll get better and you'll never get that strain of the virus again? Did anda know that the Tetanus virus comes from the intestines of Kuda and if anda don't live around them anda won't ever get Tetanus? Whats really bad about Global Warming? All the crap anda are told in school is designed to make anda NOT think, not soalan stuff. Did anda know the moon is moving away from the Earth about 1.5 inches a year? That means that it was closes to Earth last tahun than it is now. If the Earth is 4 billions years old, how close was the moon back then? Stop accepting everything people say to anda as true. Stuff on the internet is not always true. Wikipedia is written sejak people just like you. If they write something, it is not the Gospel truth necessarily. soalan everything and stop using the internet to check up on itself. Look in an old book and see what it says about your question. The reason so many people are stupid today is because of topi keledar laws and kerusi, tempat duduk belts. If we had less of each item there would be less stupid people around because smart people know to be careful when they drive a vehicle and bahagian, atas look out for stupid drivers. Less safety equipment = less stupid people.

I could assume that they're spoiled. In my day's there was only few things like Nintendo and stuff and I was satisfied with it. These kids today have lebih stuff, they have cellphones, tablets anda name it. Some teens even get a hold of guns. That's crazy. Man, if I could go back in time, I so would.

The reason that they are so stupid is because they seem to care lebih about spending money to look rich, covering up their flaws with nothing but make-up instead of personality (MOSTLY girls), wanting to be famous and also wanting to grow up too fast so they don't concentrate at school atau on the lebih important things in life like education and also getting a good job. They seem to be carefree of what's happening around them. They are trying to look "cool", as society calls it, sejak doing drugs, drinking alcohol and even trying to lose their virginity at the youngest age possible instead of focusing on school, education and the lebih important things in life.

I asked my younger brother and he berkata us kids don't give fucs we have fucs so we run around silly and everything so most of us are in jail

Pretty much all of the mentioned reasons here are the cause. As they mentioned before me there are no standards in society. Education is lacking, many adults are neglectful, many kids take after the wrong kinds of role Model and stereotypes are all over the place. It's sad to see that this is the generation I grew up !!!!

If anda ever look into history. You'll find there's been stupid people in every era of man. People being stupid today isn't a weird atau strange feat. Just every generation was stupid in their own way and had different reasons to be that stupid.

Every generation thinks the younger ones are stupid. Even Aristotle bemoaned the youth of his day.

Because there's no reason for them to bother not being stupid. Back in medieval times, kids worked. They helped out, they became apprentices, and they were treated appropriately for such. After they could think, walk, and talk, they weren't babied. They were treated as adults-to-be, not children, and it showed. sejak 14 at the latest most "children" were working as hard as adults, and treated almost as respectfully. Doing hard work paid off, even when anda were young. But now, no matter how hard anda work atau smart anda get, it's worth about jack shit until you're 18 (or an alternate age of majority, I'll use 18 as it's most common for me, but any set age works), no soalan asked. Why would minors bother attempting to be like adults when adulthood is based on when anda were born, not whether anda deserve to be? Whether a person is mature atau not, smart atau not, kind atau not, they won't be telah diberi the respect of an adult until 18, and they WILL be telah diberi the respect of an adult at 18. Basing one's value on age as opposed to deserving it is a horrible idea, and your soalan shows that anda can see proof of that.

People have been saying this about every generation since before anybody alive today was born. It isn't a "new" occurrence with young people nowadays. People have literally always berkata this about the "kids these days".

If anything, young people nowadays are smarter than their forerunners. They're just young, that's all.

Everything is rigged. The very bahagian, atas of this Hierchy planned everything out. Everything to distract us people of the 21st century they want us to prioritize other things such as TV shows,social media, stuff that we consumers purchase. And the shitty system of education. I can't believe I'm already dealing with this... . As I'm just 14 years of age.
