The seterusnya hari was Wednesday. That hari I didn’t go to school until 10:30. Humphrey saw the time and woke me up.
“Dude! It’s 7:45!”
“Don’t worry, we go to school late.”

I started to rub Humphrey’s back.

“Jeez, why do they expect us to be at the stop so early?”
“Because the busses drop their elementary kids off at about that time.”
We got ready and headed down for the bus stop. I forgot Janet didn’t know about Humphrey yet. I boarded the bus and got in the kerusi, tempat duduk behind the bus drive, but Janet stopped Humphrey.
“Woah, a serigala, wolf can’t get on this bus!”
“He’s with me,” I said.
“You need to have a pass.”
I pulled out a note from the counseling office, “Oh ok, sorry, but that thing has to go on your lap.”

“Then he doesn’t have to. But during boarding a de-boarding he goes on your lap.”

All the kids around heard “Mate.” It was official, everyone was going to call me gay. Worse than before as well. Humphrey threatened the kid. He knew not to do anything because I would get in a lot of trouble, but it was mainly just threat.

“Humphrey, calm down, let’s go.”
Humphrey and I sat down at a meja, jadual until it was time to go to class. The loceng rang and we went to our first few classes. When lunch came, I came in and sat seterusnya to my friend Mark along with Humphrey.

“He’ll be here until Friday.”

Humphrey leaned over to Ciuman me, but I stopped him.

“Dude, a yard duty is right behind you,” Mark said.
I looked back. She didn’t really give a crap about what was going on. Every time I cuss atau say something inappropriate in front of a Campus Monitor, they don’t seem to mind.

The rest of the hari passed. During 8th period I remembered that I had an after school program.
“Crap, Humphrey, I have an after school program, so we’re going to be staying for an extra hour.”
“As long as I’m with you, man!”
After 8th period, in fact, our after school class is seterusnya door, I have to tunjuk the teacher the permission form. I came in first and had Humphrey wait outside.
“Hello,” She said.
“Hi, I have a serigala, wolf out there, he’s been with me the whole day. I have the form for anda to see from the counseling office.”

Humphrey came in and approached me.
“Humphrey, this is the after school teacher, Mrs. Perondini. Mrs. Perondini, this is that serigala, wolf Humphrey.”
I saw her try to hold back a laugh, “His name is Humphrey?”
I swear, Mrs. Perondini always seems to laugh, even out of nowhere. It was funny but creepy at the same time. There were a few lebih kids that came in. In fact Mark soon came in himself.
“He’s here too?”
“Well, he has to be sejak my side the whole day. Especially with the bus.”
The program soon ended. After that we waited for the activity bus to come. Clarence, the driver of 27 came. He drives the activity bus every Wednesday.
“That serigala, wolf can’t get on, he needs a bus pass.”
“Don’t worry, I got a temporary pass from the office.”
“Oh ok, go ahead on.”
Mark usually sits behind me, but he was debating on it because of Humphrey. Something told me he didn’t like Humphrey.
“I’m not sure if I should sit seterusnya to anda atau not.”
“Here, I’ll pretend he isn’t here until anda get off.”
“What?”
“Don’t worry, he has one of the first stops. We have the saat to last.”
“Alright, I’m ok with that.”

Mark leaned in, “Why did anda tell him I had one of the first stops?”
“He’s going to find out anyway.”
Mark thought for a second, “Good point.”
Mark got off and Humphrey talked again. I was surprised he was able to keep from talking that whole time.
“Dude, how did anda do that?”
“Do what?”
“Keep from talking that whole time.”
“I don’t talk that much.”
Humphrey laid on my lap as rubbed his stomach. We eventually got off the bus and got home. That night, we celebrated about the saat good hari of school. We celebrated hard.
“Can anda go first again?”
“Can’t we switch it up?”
“Alright, we can.”
That was a fun night. Three hours of celebration, hard and fast
