It was a peaceful hari in jasper park and Kate and Humphrey were in their den digussing their day.

"I had to track 17 carabu and chased them for about five miles" Kate said.

"When me and the omegas went logboarding today, we hit a rock and everyone fell out. We ended up with black eyes and hurt paws"

They were both exhasted annd wanted to go to bed, the seterusnya morning Kate awoke and rememberd what her assighnment was. She had to get to get to the alpha station fast, she awoke Humphrey.

"Humphrey wake up wake up!"

"What is it Kate?"

"I need to get to the alpha station fast, will anda come with me?"

They both hurried to the station as fast as they could.

"Okay, im here, when are we leaving?" Kate asked.

"What do anda mean leave?" Humphrey asked.

"Humphrey, i have to go on a little trip to gather carabu for the rainy season."

"A trip, why didnt anda tell me before?"

"I just found out yesterday and i was so stressed." Kate replied.

"When are anda leaving?" Humphrey asked.

"In a few minutes."

Kate got ready to leave on her trip and within 5 minit she was off.

Humphrey didnt know what do with his time, he would wait and wait and wait for days for her to return. One night five days after Kate's leave Humphrey awoke to a howl. It sounded familiar, like one from the alpha pack, but they wern't suppost to be back for 3 lebih days. Was something wrong? Another howl, Humphrey got worried. If he heard one lebih howl that would mean someone was hurt, atau worse. The moment he heard the third howl would change his life forever.

The Making of my Stories: References in A Hero's Past

A Hero’s Past is where the callbacks and references really started coming. I figured I kinda had to reference the first movie a bit since this was a prequel story.

Right off the bat, the story starts out with the ending paragraph from Legend and that’s because this is the beginning of the entire Alpha and Omega story. I berkata at the end of Legend that the story told around the logboard always began with those words, so I decided to include them in quotations at the very start of the very first story.

In chapter two, I made a quick reference to the third movie when I mentioned the Great Wolf...

I guess, in a way, Viggo did break Humphrey’s piece during the final battle. But instead of killing him, he broke his spirit instead when he killed Runt. Humphrey’s grief over Runt was going to be the cause of something big going ke hadapan so I wanted to take a lot of time to fully flesh out just how badly Runt’s death affected him. Plus, it made Kate’s uplifting monologue even lebih meaningful.

Speaking of which, Kate’s monologue in chapter twenty-four wasn’t too hard to come up with. I really just thought about what Humphrey meant to her and the impact he had on her life. Kate’s...

The Making of my Stories: The Final Battle

I decided to have a little misdirect sejak having Humphrey saying some worrying final-sounding words to make it seem like he was gonna die again, when in actuality, it was Runt who was going to die. And I decided to rub it in a little sejak having Runt be the one who says they’re all going to make it out alright.

Something I didn’t realize with the dialogue between Viggo and Humphrey when the battle first starts is that even though I didn’t try, I followed up with the quote from the beginning, saying that Viggo didn’t seem to have any weaknesses. That line was mainly just for effect to emphasize...
