^Mmhmm. Maybe back when it first aired it's overrated. Not anymore lately.

It's still very popular. If you go to conventions, you will see it is still popular.
Also cannot wait for SAO season 3.

A little but I still like SAO

Have you ever seen any SAO fans other than on fanpop???
They're rare here nowadays, but oh boy, if you go to Facebook or Google+ they flood the place and constantly bitch about how Kirito is the best and strongest anime protagonist and how every other anime is trash-
It's annoying. A lot of them just randomly comment about SAO when it isn't even needed, too. Like on something asking about where someone could buy the next volume of Bleach someone could jump in and be like "uhhhhh just buy SAO instead :/" and get a bunch of people back him up too.

So yeah. SAO still has plenty of annoying fanboys that refuse to see the flaws in the series and cram it down your throat whenever they can.

Personally the series wasn't my taste, I found it boring, but I don't hate it. A lot of the fans just really dig under my skin.
