Well, what were our Brave heroines and Heroes without their friends? They would be forced to provide the comic relief themselves. Not that some of them wouldn’t be able to step up to the challenge (*cough* Flynn* cough*), but as a general rule, it’s the sidekicks who provide the laughter.
Pocahontas is not listed in this category. I considered adding “Percy’s bath”, but since the score is very short, it wouldn’t have been fair.

9. Princess and the Frog: I have my problems with most of the songs of this movie, but “Gonna take anda there” might be the worst of all of them. There is nothing I like about this one. Not the text, not the tune. I think that’s the only song in all the Filem of which I really dislike every minit of. Normally I’m lebih “good, but not as good as…” atau “it could have been good if…” but this is lebih along the “I don’t want to hear it again” line.

Fanpop says: The voting for this category was very even, save for the best and the worst song. And yes, I’m in the trend here, this was the looser sejak scoring nearly half of the votes. Didn’t get a best-vote either. “Just a Meh-Song”(ellie53)

8. Aladdin: “Friend like me” is a fun song, it’s a good song – but really, it adds seterusnya to nothing to the movie. All the explanations about the rules of Genie’s magic are done before atau after the song. The only thing it does is giving the animators the opportunity to play around. And for a song which is sung “just for fun”, it’s a little bit too long.

Fanpop says: Nobody considered it as the worst of the bunch, and it got some best votes, so I suspect, it would be higher on most of the other lists.

7. Cinderella: I like “The Work Song”, maybe because the mice are a little bit less squeaky in the German version of it, maybe because of nostalgia. But I have to admit that the text isn’t really creative – it’s mostly about the mice Singing what they are doing the very moment. But at least, it’s short and to the point. And it adds to the plot, since it's basically about the mice realizing the plan of Lady Tremaine and their decision to help Cinderella.

Fanpop says: Milky-way was very emphatic about this one: “I. HATE. THIS. SONG. AND. THEIR. ANNOYING. SQUEAKY. LITTLE. VOICES.” But overall, it was mostly in the middle, like all the other songs.

6. Beauty and the Beast: There has been some talk recently about the soalan if “Be our Guest” is overrated atau not. So it might be better to put up a disclaimer here: I adore the scene in which the song is played, and if I should decide to watch “Beauty and the Beast” in 3D, than it would be because I want to see it on the big screen again. Not the ballroom scene, not the transformation, just the dancing tableware. I think it’s a great tune, but I think that of nearly all Disney songs, especially those in Disney movies. In the end, the decision is down to the content of the song. And while there are a lot of hints about the suffering of the serving staff during the years under the curse, it’s mostly about eating and serving, and it has seterusnya to no bearing to the plot of the movie.

Fanpop says: This was the runner-up for the best, but as I mentioned before, the voting for the middle was very close together. I suspect it would be higher on most lists, but nobody really dikomen on it.

5. Tangled: I had a really hard time to judge the “Thugs Song”, and not just because it’s lebih a “side character” than a “side-kick” song, considering that Pascal is the true sidekick in this movie. The thing is: The whole scene in the “Ugly Duckling” is one of the funniest I have ever seen. It’s so unexpected that a group of thugs would suddenly start Singing about their dreams (especially if berkata dreams involve being a florist atau an interior designer). But what throws this scene really out of the ballpark are Flynn’s and Pascal’s “Are anda serious?” expressions. Normally everyone is Singing and dancing enthusiastically in a Disney movie, but if this happened to me in real life, I think I would look exactly like Flynn (and then I would sertai in). Considering how much I Cinta this sequence, I had a really hard time to look at the song itself without having the whole situation in mind. But I think the content hold up slightly better than the one of “Be our Guest” (keep in mind that I Cinta the tableware dance just as much). It’s about not judging people based on the way they look, that there might be hidden talents were nobody expects them. It also ties in nicely with the “second chances” theme which is going on in this movie. And it adds to the plot, since the thugs are needed later on to free Flynn.

Fanpop says: That on the other hand was the runner-up for the worst, so I suspect, most people would disagree with me for placing it over “Be our Guest”. But again, nobody really dikomen on it.

4. Sleeping Beauty: Technically there isn’t a sidekick song in “Sleeping Beauty”. But there is a theme that gets played every time the Pari-pari turn up (though, calling the Pari-pari sidekicks is misleading, the are sidecharacters at the worst, the protagonists at the best]. It’s most prominent in “Magical House Cleaning/Blue atau Pink”, the sequence during the scene in which the Pari-pari are preparing Briar Rose birthday party, the scene which results in Aurora getting discovered. It’s a very memorable tune, I just have to hear a few notes of it and I automatically think about the Pari-pari – something no other song on this senarai accomplishes.

Fanpop says: Nothing, since I didn’t put the score up to vote. I didn’t think that it would be very productive, considering that people tend to remember songs lebih than scores, or, lebih precisely, they tend to remember the tajuk of songs lebih than the tajuk of score pieces. Some of my later picks, in which I did mix songs and scores, showed that I was right about that.

3. Snow White: “Heigh-Ho” was originally lebih towards the bottom of this list. Then I reconsidered it a couple of times, and it slowly etched its way to the top, until it ended up here. Yes, I know, this isn’t one of those songs most people would sing just for fun. But it’s very, very well done. How the sound of the digging starts the dwarves Singing about their work, introducing themselves short and to the point (although the fact that they don’t even know why they are digging is a little bit odd), and the way they do the transition to the “Heigh-Ho” part. The saat part of the song isn’t very exciting, considering the lack of actual text, but it builds up the anticipation about the home-coming of the dwarves very well.

Fanpop says: Yeah, I repeat myself here, but again, another one of those middle songs nobody had to say anything about. It looks like most of those songs are lebih atau less on the same level. “Every single one is amazing. Under the Sea, Be Our Guest, Friend Like Me, The Work Song, & Heigh-Ho are my other bahagian, atas ones...very difficult...”(fishypup)

2. Mulan: Adding “A girl worth fighting for” on this senarai is a little bit of a stretch, since Mulan’s official sidekicks are Mushu and Cri-Kee, but “Mulan” is somewhat a special case since the songs in this movie are a little bit unusual, and I really don’t want to judge all of them in the same category, so menanggung, bear with me. Ever noticed that every single song in this movie is about gender roles? This is the “what want the male side-characters from a woman”-song (it’s somewhat interesting that Shang is the only one who doesn’t voice his preference). But the main reason it’s so high on the senarai is the placing in the movie. The way is suddenly breaks up and the mood goes from a cheerful atmosphere to the destroyed village, really drives across the tragic of what happened to the people living there. Although the audience already knew about Shan Yu plans, this comes so unexpected, that it has a much bigger impact than it would have if they just had discovered the village in a normal way. Another plus for the song is the fact that it doesn’t slow down the movie at all, quite the opposite. It works very well to cover the passage of time from the training camp to the actual battlefield.

Fanpop says: Judging sejak the voting, this one had a tendency to the lebih beloved ones. “yet the only girl that Cinta him is his mother xp haha hillarious.really Cinta it!”(PociandSmith)

1. The Little Mermaid: I think “Under the Sea” is the only song in any DP movie which soalan the actions of the heroine, providing another perspective (save for "Dig a little Deeper", but that's lebih a "you shouldn't forget to do this too" than a "what anda do might be the wrong decision" song). For this fact alone it deserves a high placing. But it’s also one of those songs which made me want to dance immediately. The text is full of creative lines like “under the sea we’re off the hook”, it’s just a joy to hear those wordplays.

Fanpop says: The clear winner, and it got a lot of declarations of love. “This song never fails to put me in a good mood :)” (milky-way)

The countdown is over and the results are in! DP club peminat-peminat have voted for their kegemaran landscapes in DP movies. Surprisingly peminat-peminat were lebih divided for choosing the lower ranks and had almost a united say about the bahagian, atas ones. Here are the results. Hope you'll enjoy.

11. Princess and The Frog
I was a little surprised to see it leave first. I know its not much liked around here but I thought having Cinderella and Snow White and Seven Dwarfs around, this might just skip being eliminated first. Well, I was wrong. peminat-peminat didn't really find the bayou magical and swamps looked garish and dull to them....

Hi guys, since nobody had done this, what anda guys are going to read are possible future hairstyles for a princess. Ready?

Rose Bukater's 2 Hairstyles

Only 2 hairstyles made it as a possible hairstyle for a princess, especially if it's a princess from the Victorian atau Edwardian Era set in Europe! I just Cinta these 2 hairstyles as it looks very classy.

Scarlett O Hara's 2 Hairstyles

Another possible choice for the a princess, initially I had great difficulties over which one is the best. But ultimately, both are the best like Rose!

Liesl Von Trapp's Hairstyle

Honestly, this is the only hairstyle that I really like, it looks simple and yet elegant.

The Choice is Up to You!

So, do anda agree with the choice that I made?

1. Forest dress
Hi there. Thanks for the positive feedback from this i will reply to each komen to say thanks atau give my opinions on what anda think. Today we will be discussing Princess Aurora from sleeping beauty, the last of the classic princess.

1. Forest dress
Unlike the first two she is not a slave, but must hide from malifecent in the forest. Her dress is a black bahagian, atas with grey sleeves, a black skirt and a black headband. Sometimes she will have a light brown head cover. Despite her bright blonde hair this is a dark dress for her but it fits well. It is a not a dress for a princess to though but that...

I'm always interested in Disney Princesses' wardrobes and thought that there is hardly any prominence telah diberi to their jewelry department. Well, what's a princess without some jewels (and tiaras, which i'll be doing in another article). So I crafted this artikel to imagine their signature jewels and a glimpse into their collection.

Snow White: Pearl
Pearls are linked with innocence and helps to see life through the eyes of compassion. It is also known for its purity. Snow White being the most innocent and fairest of all makes a perfect fit with pearls. Pearls are also often seen in the light of...

Here's how peminat-peminat have chosen the kegemaran wedding dress among Disney princesses.

9. Mulan's Official Wedding Dress (with Prince Jeeki):
In initial round, it was tied with Jasmine's and her wedding dress with Shang. It was surprising to note that while it was a tie, there were hardly any komen-komen for Jasmine's dress.
Finally the tiebreaker results determined the first elimination with Mulan's official wedding dress. Most peminat-peminat were put off with its unusually big headgear.

SarahCorine: It's definitely cute. I like the colors. But she looks cuter in her other wedding dress. And the hat does...

I know this is a touchy topic, so I've tried to tread it in the best way I could! It is not my intention to offend anyone atau misrepresent this topic, so if I did I'd Cinta to improve on it and fix my mistakes. I hope anda enjoy reading!

For a group of people that claim to be supporting of all women and their ventures, the mistreatment that the classic princesses very often get from them is rather surprising. To a majority of feminists, the women they are catering to is the new-age, I can do it all superwoman. They believe that all women should fit into that box and if they don't, they're deprived,...

One Day More!
Okay, there was an interesting artikel about Cinderella that inspired me to write this artikel on which princess will suit the famous songs from Les Miserables. So, are anda ready? Here we go!

I Dreamed a Dream

Cinderella would definitely sing this song, because she longs to breakaway from her abusive step-family. It was like when her happy days has turn into a nightmare, so I feel that she needs to sing this song at some point in the movie itself.

At the End of the Day

This song would definitely fit Tiana because her movie is set during the Great Depression, the financial crisis during that...

Sorry it took me so long to finish this countdown. I just got lazy I guess haha. I did this countdown because while there have been multiple "Best Kiss" countdowns I have never seen the "Almost Kisses" get much appreciation. I think they are cute and suspenseful, so I thought I would give them the spotlight for once. Here are the results, compiled for your enjoyment. :)

9. Tiana and Naveen's 1st Almost Kiss

It's no surprise this Ciuman left first. It's the only one here that isn't romantic in the slightest, since Tiana doesn't even want to Ciuman him and she's only doing it to get her restaurant....

Hello everyone!
I'm ezilo25 and this is my very first artikel on this site! I wanted to do something special, and since I have read the Grimms Tale in German my whole life, I wanted to do a comparison of Disney movie adaptations and the Tales of Grimm. So, let's get started! Oh, and excuse me if I do grammatical
mistakes, I'm french, so please forgive me!

Cinderella

Oh, Cinderelli... I adore the Disney character, I am passionate about the animasi movie, but I am in Cinta with Aschenputtel, the Grimms version of the Cinderella. Yes, I know, the movie is inspired sejak the Perrault version, which...

I find that Snow has the opposite problem as Elsa: she is frequently just typed as a sensor (because anda know, she's all traditional and not adventurous and likes to cook and all that boring sensor stuff, right?). There's a lot of bias and stereotyping with MBTI fans, and I used to be guilty of it too (OK, sometimes I still am). though to be fair, I think Snow IS a little underdeveloped in ways, so she could really be interpreted either way. However, I'll explain why I think she uses Ni over Si.

Extraverted Feeling (Fe): No doubt about it, Snow White is warm, caring, and a social butterfly....

 Ella and Kit, together!!
Ella and Kit, together!!
Hi everyone, I have decided to write about what I like and didn't like about both versions of Cinderella. If anda guys disagree with me, I don't mind. In the bold bracket, is the one I like.

The Prologue

In the 1950 version, we only saw Cinderella and her father with their pets. Unfortunately, he only gets a few minit of screen-time and there were no interaction between the two because I felt that the whole prologue was just rush. We don't know how close the bond is between Cinderella and her dad.
In the 2015 version, for the first time we got to see her mother as well and Ella, including...
