As I mentioned in my baru-baru ini artikel that all of princesses were not shown to have a childhood, their stories begin when they are much older. So, i thought it may be nice to imagine the childhood of these princesses and how have they matured to be such people. Since everything written here is my own imagination, all the opinions in the artikel are just my speculations based on their personality, as i see it.

Therefore, there's no ranking in this article.

Belle:
Her father would have read stories to her at bedtime, that's why Belle is so imaginative and fond of reading. Also, Belle would have taken responsibility of taking care of household, going to town for roti atau something, feeding animals, cleaning as her father was scientist and would have had to be away for work early in her life. Seeing her happy most of times and up and about to her work early morning, this makes me think if her mother died maybe quite early in her life making Belle so adept at household work. She also mentions to Beast that her father is her only family. She is very close with her father, having sweet talks and considerate of each other's opinion and having deep Cinta for each other, enough to sacrifice each other's life. Belle was also very supportive of her father. This shows that he must have cared for Belle and was very fond of her. He must have encouraged her to read, to have her own say but would have taught her to be polite to people. She seemed to not make any social connections till late in her life - this shows she would have been an "odd-one-out" most her life, not having Friends almost all her life. She would've had a comfortable, warm and happy childhood keseluruhan - except that she wouldn't have had Friends of her age to talk to, which could be lonely sometimes, but it doesn't look like she was restricted in any way, rather her father must have encouraged to talk to people of the town.

Pocahontas:
Okay, she seems a lot serious (not sad-serious but mature/wise -serious) to me than other princesses. So, i'm guessing she would have had some princesses rule and regulations to conform to, although she wouldn't have minded it,being a good kid, but it would have been a part of her growing up years. Since she's a daughter, and only child of Chief, and her mother was mentioned as a free-spirited woman, she'd have been provided for in best possible ways and yet would have been let free to do what she wanted in her spare time. Her childhood seems most like Merida to me, close to nature, being raised sejak both parents with highest authority of the tribe, and a knack of exploring but she is also quite mature, so she must have loved the lessons and the responsibilities that comes as a part of being a princesses, unlike Merida. She also would have had Nakoma as her childhood friend, with whom she'd have spent a lot of fun days in the wilderness.

Mulan:
A clumsy, shy child who wanted to do everything right but she would have also wanted to run free and be naughty (the way she wakes up in opening scene with high energy). Her family is much traditional and conventional people, with her father serving highly in military arm to the Emperor, she would have mostly missed her dad and would have somehow wanted to follow his footsteps to bring similar honor to the family. She couldn't quite fit-in the typical female roles and was neither demure nor lady-like, it makes me think she must have been the child of imagination, where she'd play with imaginary swords and fight off dragons, imagining herself to be a boy atau "son for his father" She wouldn't have expressed this side of hers as she's seen to be quite introvert and shy person in early movie scenes. Also, she'd have known that behaving in such way wouldn't have been appreciated in family. As a child also, there would have been many expectations from her - proper education, dressing up properly, behave in certain way in public. Maybe, coz there was always an emotional expectation, she'd have felt pressurized to perform atau behave in a certain way in which she wasn't most comfortable atau "be herself". This would have been tough on a growing child, but not sad atau heart-breaking of course. She also seemed lebih close to her grandma, as she looks the coolest and most unconventional in the family (betting, a hint of mischief while crossing road). Mulan could have had a close bond with her grandma in childhood, listening stories of war Heroes and her dad. I think Mulan would have had two sides in her childhood - a personal side (imaginative, brave, heroic) and a social side (introvert, clumsy, shy, composed). That's why i think she was so unsure of herself when she was required to be sent to matchmaker for marriage and felt she wasn't meant to fulfill a daughter's role.

Jasmine:
Okay, she's a tough one to imagine. There's no mention of her mother, i think she must have had Lost her mother in very early days, almost when she was a toddler. She would have had to be raised sejak her father
atau a governess. But since, there's no mention of personal governess, I'm thinking she must have been raised sejak multiple hands along with her father. So, she wouldn't have been telah diberi much personal attention as her father would have been busy in his day-to-day affairs. So, she was mostly spending her time inside of castle, with not much people to talk to. It would have been limiting for a child, with no company and a restricted view of the world. No one would have telah diberi her due direction and guidance on behavior atau her role as a princess. She would have been mostly led free, and that's why may be she cannot acknowledge atau appreciate the privileges, as it would have been there as normal thing for her since her birth. She may also have been over-protected sejak her father, and that's why probably she developed a keen desire to go outside palace walls. ( I found an interesting clip on pinterest: maybe her mother suggested to let her go outside palace walls but king was too afraid, influenced sejak his Vizier too much ). She wasn't required to work for her personal things and her father wouldn't have involved her in admin work as well (following the traditional norm of the society), she would have spent her days lazing around, maybe indulging herself in her own ways as she deemed fit. It would have to be lonely, with no one expecting anything out of her and nothing concrete/purposeful to do with your life. Maybe, just maybe, why she was a bit cranky, had a haughty attitude towards who questioned her atau assumed things about her since nobody would had done so ever in her childhood. Her father though seemed to care a lot about her and she is also shown to be not nasty with words when talking to him, it could have been that he just couldn't have been able to give her due time being a king, making her childhood a clear case of child neglect.
