9. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Despite its lack of appreciation on Fanpop, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs remains an iconic film praised for its groundbreaking animation. Before Snow White, animasi in America was used primarily for silly short stories and propoganda. It was considered absurd when Walt himself first embraced the idea of creating a full-length, animated feature film. Critics all thought that no one would ever take a simple, overstretched cartoon seriously on the big screen. But this film changed everything and was the first jewel in a legacy of animated classics. Audiences wept buckets as along with dwarves as they saw the precious little princess in her glass coffin which was extremely peculiar because no one ever thought that they would cry over the death of a cartoon character. The only reasonable explanation for coming in dead last in this countdown is that animasi has since improved which is understandable. Snow White's actions can come off slightly choppy and unconvincing and the colour scheme in this film is blander than the later classics. The prince also wasn't an active participant in the plot because of the inexperience in convincingly drawing men, but it is undeniably a fantastic animated film, often praised as the best of its kind.

8. Mulan

Stylistically unique to other princess films, the backgrounds in Mulan are done in watercolour palattes to creat a lebih simple yet bold and visually stunning film. There is an excellent blend of CGI in sequences such as the huns proceeding down the mountain to attack Shang's army and the crowd watching Mulan battle Shan-Yu on the roof of the Emperor's palace. Needless to say, like all of Disney's theatrical animated classics, the animasi is very impressive in the film. But the ones places above it were considered lebih refined sejak the majority of voters.

7. Cinderella

Carefully crafted and well polished, Cinderella has gorgeous animation. From the distinct glistening on the floor Cindy scrubs, anda can almost feel the texture of the marble tiles. The staircase has a most elegant banister. The kertas dinding is detailed and delicately drawn and painted. Besides the immaculate detail in the animasi of this film, it is lebih kuno, fesyen lama than the newer fare and thus, like Snow White got booted out due to the fact that Disney has since improved their animating skills. It should also be mentioned that Cinderella's magical dress transformation was known to be Walt's personal favourite piece of animasi ever created.

6. Aladdin

Insanely animated, this box office smash pushed boundaries in ways no other Disney film could have imagined. The city of Agrabah is rich in mystery and adventure, which can easily be seen sejak its sunny, sandy image. The magic carpet is a character that was so wonderfully animated because anda have to remember that there honestly was the challenge of hiring an animator to draw a rug and give it a personality through movement which is truly an exciting task. But one of the main things that stands out in impressive animasi in Aladdin is the character that mencuri the show...Genie! The animators did a flawless job in matching up Genie's comedic banter and unstoppable hilarity sejak having him morph and shapeshift every time there was an impression atau joke to be told. Besides this unforgettable sidekick, this film truly mastered a healthy balance between using CGI (for example the tiger head to the Cave of Wonders) and old fashioned animation.

5. The Princess and the Frog

The amazing movie that brought back classic Disney magic after years of straight to DVD crap and a hillbilly teen girl whose secretly a pop star, The Princess and the Frog is a visually jaw-dropping feature. Its fine, detailed portrayal of New Orleans is simply breathtaking and the bayou in which our two leads must journey through is also quite enchanting. Its no wonder that animators drew inspiration from such classics as Bambi and Lady and the Tramp while designing this film. The animasi is quite stunning which no one can deny, however some berkata its heavy use of CGI took away from some of the magic which is why it didn't quite make bahagian, atas four.

4. Pocahontas

This is a truly gorgeous film. Everything is carefully detailed from the ship in which the British settlers arrive to the waterfall in which our heroine canoes down. Everything in this film had to be done with great care and dignity as the film carried lebih substantial meaning than its predecessors. The CGI enhanced scene in which the leaves surrounding Pocahontas carry their way to the ship in which a wounded John Smith is being taken back to England accompanied with Alan Menken's score can truly send chills down one's spine. Everything in this film is beautiful but its forest backgrounds were considered to be lebih plain and lacked the extra something that would be needed to make bahagian, atas three.

3. Sleeping Beauty

Praised as one of the most beautiful animated films of all time, Sleeping Beauty is a colourful, dazzling force to be reckoned with. While spending ten years in production of this classic, the goal was simple: make every single frame a piece of artwork. Goal achieved thanks to the late Eyvind Earle, the film's colour stylist and chief background designer. He took great liberty in making a stylistically groundbreaking piece of animation. Everything in Sleeping Beauty is extremely detailed and some particularly fascinating shots truly look as though they were done in CGI which hadn't even been invented yet. Easily one of Disney's most carefully crafted and detailed animated films, Sleeping Beauty is a rare piece of breathtaking, magical eye candy.

2. The Little Mermaid

This sensational masterpiece is proof that the most magnificent things in the world can come straight from our imaginations. The freedom that came in portraying the story of a lovely, longhaired heroine who lived beneath the waves in the ocean was incredible. There were no boundaries in Ariel's movements, nothing was impossible. But there were challenges faced that were overcame with excellence and grace, as is usually the case with Disney. The rays of sunlight from the surface that glimmer on the sea floor and on Ariel's skin is simply genius. The perfect detail in every movement causing bubbles and Ariel's hair constantly swirling around her. Watching The Little Mermaid is like getting Lost in a dream that anda never want to end. Even the surface scenes were breathtaking (in Flounder's case, literally). The detail inside Eric's kingdom and his istana, castle were astounding and after a string of less than well-received animated flops, The Little Mermaid saved Disney's keldai once again.

The most impressive animasi in a Disney Princess film comes from...
1. Beauty and the Beast

The ultimate Disney fairy tale classic. A blend of true imagination with the wonderfully animated household object characters and the sophisticated, perfectly detailed backgrounds and settings such as the Beast's istana, castle and the village where Belle and Maurice live. This film not only has spectacular technical animation, but also truly mesmerizing character animation. The Beast is one of the most complex Disney Heroes of all time. He was based on a combination of several Haiwan but his eyes are oh so human. anda can feel his heartache and his pain just sejak looking at the glimmer in those baby blues. Belle is also an incredibly animated character. While creating her, the film-makers realized that there goal shouldn't necessarily be to create the most beautiful heroine of all time but to create a credible performance. Belle's beauty shines from within and although some complain about the slight alterations in her appearance, this type of critique can easily be berkata of other occasionally inconsistent looking characters such as Snow White, Jasmine, and Ariel. This movie is truly a fairy tale book come to life, everything is done in such high quality and with such polish, one can even forget it's animated due to the great story, wonderful music, and ultimately specatacular animation

Hello Disney Princess Fans! First let me apologize for being a bit late getting the artikel up this time. I'm sure you're all familiar with how busy the holiday season is, and due to that I got pretty far behind. Also, I would like to thank everyone who helped with the article, as I could not have done in alone.

Anyway, before we get started let me give anda a brief run down of the Meet the DP peminat-peminat articles, in case anda happen to new to the club and/or unfamiliar with them. These artikel-artikel have been done in past sejak a few other users to showcase some of the current Disney Princess fans. Now, obviously,...

I wrote this artikel years lalu for the first ten princesses but now with Beyonce's baru-baru ini contribution to the Disney family in the 2019 Lion King, I figured it was a good time as any to do an updated senarai with the twelve current official princesses. I decided to add Esmeralda, Megara, Anna, and Elsa too! We just take a look through the Queen Bee's singles and see which one fits each princess based on the title, lyrics, Muzik video and general feel of the song.

Do anda know what's funny? Even though she's all about female empowerment and women being independent, Beyonce's just like virtually every...

Hello all! Many apologies for running a bit behind on this one. The holidays are always chaos incarnate.

Cinderella was our Princess of the bulan for December, and here is a collection of thoughts on why we adore her. Many thanks to those who telah dihantar comments!

I absolutely Cinta when Cindy's snarky side peeks through, like when she makes a quip about the "music lesson". It's adorable but also rounds out her character. <3 ~MaidofOrleans

She teaches me to DREAM BIG!!! ~deedragongirl

She is kind, hard-working, and a princess from my childhood that I still Cinta today. ~LMH5113

I used to give into the hype and I still like her but I've recently realized that she's not that strong atau effective of a villain. I've never seen the Angelina Jolie live action movie and quite honestly I don't think I ever will. This is all based on the original Sleeping Beauty.

Now, Maleficent definitely has the classic villain personality (sinister, petty, arrogant) and aesthetic. (she can turn into a dragon, and green api, kebakaran is cool) She's one of the most quotable and meme-able villains in all of Disney. In fact, I think she's the one who really perfected the look and feel of a "Disney Villain"...

I'm actually looking ke hadapan to watching this a little lebih than I did when I had to watch Maleficent. This remake may not live up to the standards of the original but personally it's always been enjoyable to watch.

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
The first time I watched Cinderella I did like it and there were some changes I liked but then there were some changes I really had to question. Even with the problems I have with this movie I still like to watch it every now and then.

How much of this movie have I forgotten:

Since the...

This is another sequel I haven't seen in forever. Longer than forever, actually. I would say I'm excited to watch this but after Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World I'm not looking ke hadapan to watching this one.

Last time watched: 2002

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
The beginning of this story is exactly the same as the one about Pocahontas 2; I wasn't into the original that much when I was a kid, but then this cartoon Disney movie with familiar faces came out, begged my dad to get me a copy, fin. But unlike Pocahontas 2 I actually did...

Here's the artikel for Pocahontas!

I know in the past I've made komen-komen about how I don't like this movie because it's been berkata that the tale of Pocahontas saving John was a lie and I've also berkata I can't stand Pocahontas and John together because it's gross Pocahontas was aged up for this movie. However I will watch this movie and just enjoy it without thinking about those things.

By now anda should all know what I write about in these artikel-artikel so I'll just go ahead and start!

Tonight's rewatch: Pocahontas

Tangled is my kegemaran Disney movie for many reasons besides the wonderful storyline and beautiful imagery. I really relate to Rapunzel in so many ways. I try to be optimistic and see the beauty in the small things in life. I try to stay hopeful and occupy my time with many hobbies. I have so many interests and Cinta learning about them and learning about the world and other cultures. We also share physical features, brown hair and green eyes, and prefer walking outside barefoot. I also have some German heritage, so I relate to her that way as well.

My mother also acts a lot like Mother Gothel....

While it hasn't been confirmed, various clues have pointed to Moana eventually joining the Disney Princess lineup. This process only involved 20+ users, which I think is a good thing, we'll save the BIG survey for after Moana's official coronation. That's why I didn't ask for komen-komen atau use fancy pics. Since the pool of users is so small, I wouldn't say these results are absolute and concrete. This is just a small pratonton of where Moana as well as the other princesses stand.

Now with all the issues, people have with Disney, one of the films that have legitimate grievances is Pocahontas. And as anda can imagine, because there ARE legit grievances to be had with Pocahontas, sites like Tumblr have an absolute field hari with it. Personally, the lebih research I did on the situation around this film, the lebih I was actually fascinated sejak it.

I know it's easy to write this movie off but how it came to be is a lot lebih nuanced than anda think. It actually was gonna be a story closer to what happened in history but then Jefferey Katzenberg's overwhelming desire to get another...

Though not nearly as much as Merida and other revival princesses,Tiana is occasionally bashed for contributing to Disney's current trend of "meta", "woke" commentary with her whole "hard work, anda can't just wish" shtick. While this does irritate me, I try to separate film makers' intentions from the actual context of the movie and the character.

In the first act of the film, she's portrayed as diligent and determined but she's not as in your face about it. For the most part, her thing is "partying and dancing just isn't my for me". She's not insistent, condescending atau critical of others for...

As asteriamalfoy recently reported on the club wall, it appears that Moana will soon become the newest member of the Disney Princess lineup. The club's reception to the news is a mixed bag, which is the latest example of how the general Fanpop opinion (namely, this club's opinion) doesn't always match that of the internet. It's interesting why that is, and I will attempt to find the reason here.

Before going forward, be aware that everything that I consider an "opinion" of Fanpop and/or the internet is a generalization. True, there are some users on both this website and the rest of the worldwide...
