A lot of fans on here, including myself can be a little unfair and nitpicky and makes us no better than the SJWs, feminazis and tumblrinas. And I will say that a lot of, not all, the anger I feel towards Brave and Frozen is directed at the writers and general public than the movies.

It annoyed me when people overanalyzed Elsa's sexuality

Parts of this statement are true. However, the fanbases for those who love Frozen and Brave, critique The Little Mermaid, and any other prior Disney movies ( Non-DP ones as well) to shreds. I think criticism for Frozen and Brave is definitely warranted.

I hate the word feminazi. Let's not compare radfems to people who did the Holocaust, yeah?

A lot of the anti-feminist criticism is weird (the punching thing comes to mind) or hypocritical, complaining about how men are portrayed while letting the one-dimensional characterization of guys in the renaissance films as helpless or immoral idiots in constant need of a woman's guidance slide without comment.

The technical/story criticism is usually right, though. Especially with Frozen. The story is so sloppy and disjointed. And a lot of the songs are about as subtle with their message as getting hit in the face with a brick.

When people try to frame their sociopolitical ideologies through the lens of a Disney movie it usually doesn't work and makes them seem like they're using a movie as a soapbox for their beliefs. Critiquing the actual story and characters for what they are is always fine, even if people have differing opinions, but saying that aspects of Frozen and Brave are too-feminist, feminist or anti-feminist almost always makes me cringe.
