I remember being more facinated by her design. The whole octopus/squid thing was what captured me about her! I never found her scary, but I can certainly understand why some would find her scary! The end of Poor Unfortunate Souls, where the things go very fast, she has some scary scenes. Also the scene where she grows to an enormous size. That is scary!

Nope, she never scared me. However I was TERRIFIED of King Triton, especially when he destroyed Ariel's grotto!

What MaidofOrleans said. I was more scared of King Triton than I ever was of Ursula. When King Triton blew up everything...I remember cringing and wanting to hide.

Although I saw the movie for the first time when I was a kid I never scare with her.

I think I was about 13 when I first watched all of The Little Mermaid.
