Courtney's POV: i woke up the seterusnya morning, took a showers, brushed my teeth, and ate breakfast. Breakfast wasn't like it used to be when mom was around. Sizzling  bacon and buttery lempeng, penkek turned into two pieces of burnt roti bakar and a glass of telah tamat tempoh orange juice. I put my plate in the dishwasher and my cup in the sink. "I'll be down the hall."I called to my dad. "Okay." my dad said. I walked down the hallway and knocked on Duncan's door. He answered the door quicker than yesterday. "Hey." he said. "Hi." I berkata in return. Duncan stepped aside as I walked inside. "Wanna play Play Station?" Duncan asked. "Sure." I said. We sat down on the sofa, kerusi panjang and picked up the remotes just like yesterday. We started playing as we pressed the start button. The only noise in the apartment was the sound effects from the game and buttons being pressed. We didn't really talk, we just sometimes laughed. I hadn't laughed in a while but when I was around Duncan, laughing was like any other activity in my usual day. What was so special about him that made me laugh? I shrugged the thought off. "What?" Duncan asked. "What? Nothing." I berkata looking at him then back at the game. Duncan paused  the game and said, "Dang, you've gotten good." "I had a Play Station back in Montana and I sometimes played it." I said. "Well anda must have golden fingers then." Duncan said. We both laughed. We took a small break and continued playing again. After playing for a couple of hours, I checked the clock as it berkata 10 : 30 p.m. "I better go." I berkata putting down the remote and standing up. Duncan did the same and showed me to the door. I noticed that Duncan didn't give me a goodbye hug this time. Yet again, I didn't hear Duncan's door close until mine opened. I walked in and saw that my dad was watching TV on the couch. "Good night dad." I berkata walking into my room. "Good night." he said. I closed my door and fell asleep as soon as I layed down. 

Every morning for about 2 weeks was all the same. I would wake up and go straight to Duncan's apartment. It's the third week I've been living in New York and it's been great. I think it's because I get to see Duncan every day. I've been so caught up I've barely had any time to talk to Bridgette. I didn't really feel like talking to her even though she was a friend of mine. She's  called me once every week like I was supposed to do. I ignored one of them. I told her about Duncan and about how I went to go see him every hari and play the Play Station with him. Bridgette told me I was in Cinta with him. I know for a fact that I'm not. Duncan has been my best friend ever since I was a kid so there's no way I'm in Cinta with my best friend. And even if I was in Cinta with him, he doesn't like me the same way anyway. We're best Friends and that's all we are. I haven't spoken to Bridgette since she told me I was in Cinta with Duncan. I woke up Saturday morning and did the usual to get ready. I told my dad I'd be down the hall and in return he nodded. I knocked on the door to as Duncan opened it. I swear, I think he opens the door faster each day. I went into the apartment and walked over to the couch. I picked up the game remote. Duncan Walked over to the sofa, kerusi panjang slowly with his head hung. He sat down, put his elbows on his knees and his head in his hands. I put the game remote down on the coffee meja, jadual and asked, "Duncan, what's wrong?" Duncan didn't answer. I put my hand on his back and asked again. Still no answer. I toon my hand off his back and just sat there waiting for him to say atau do anything. All of a sudden, Duncan jerked up. Then all I knew at that moment, was that his lips were on mine. My eyes were wide open as I was shocked. Maybe Bridgette was right. Duncan is in Cinta with me. My eyes were slowly closing. After about 5 saat more, our lips were apart. I looked at Duncan and he looked at me. "I'm sorry." Duncan simply said. "It's okay." I said. It seemed like we were staring at each other for hours. His eyes were the perfect shade of blue. I can't believe he kissed me. And I can't believe I liked it. "I guess anda have togo back utama now, huh?" Duncan asked. "I don't have to go if anda don't want me to." I said. "I don't want anda to. So, do anda wanna play Play Station?" Duncan asked. "Sure. Why not?" I berkata with a smile. We picked up the game remotes once again and starred playing. 
We were playing for a couple of hours. I checked the clock on the dinding as it berkata 10 : 30 p.m.  I kept on playing. I didn't feel like going utama tonight. I just wanted to be here with Duncan. Two lebih hours past and I was already falling asleep. All of a sudden, my game remote fell to the floor and my head was on Duncan's shoulder. I heard the game turn off and Duncan layed back. I curled up seterusnya him and went to sleep. He was freezing cold but I didn't mind.
