Duncan's POV:

I woke up on Wednesday with one thought on my mind, well two. 1) Courtney is RIGHT seterusnya door. 2) Why did all of us fall asleep in the living room? And with that a third came into my head, my parents were still not home. Why would they come? They don't even care.

I rubbed my eyes and stretched my arms, then yawned. Lauren was to my right, seterusnya to her was Tyler and on my left was Jacob. I yawned again and said, "Alright, boys, get up!" 

Lauren, as usual, was the first to come to, she said, "I. Am. Not. A. Boy. Get that through your stupid head Duncan. And anda know NOT to mess with me in the morning." She made every word clear, it only made me wanna mess with her more.

Jacob and Tyler woke up laughing at our sister. While she ran up the stairs. "Nice job, man." Jacob said.

"I must say, anda always know how to get under her skin the best." Tyler said.

"Eh, it's just cause we're the closest of all of us." I said. They nodded and headed toward the kitchen. I followed.

Lauren came running down the stairs, completely dressed in new clothes and already ready to rush out of the door. She was wearing a black tank bahagian, atas with a leather jacket, the sleeves ending at her elbows, and dark jean short shorts, and her classic black hi-tops. She came over to us while she was trying to get her last earring in.

"Oh my gosh, anda guys reak!" She berkata disgusted. When the earring was in the waved her hand infront of her nose.

Jacob said, "Well, get used to it, we're boys."

"I have gotten used to it, the past 14 years of my life!" She said.

"Where do anda think you're going? It's summer, anda know there's no school right?" I said.

"Yes, I know that. Stephen's coming over, he's taking me out." She said.

"Wait, he's driving?" 

"No, his brother is, gosh Duncan, anda really shouldn't be the one talking."

"Aww, Lauren's got a da-ate. Lauren's got a da-ate!" Tyler berkata over and over.

She said, "Hey, at least I can get a boyfriend, unlike anda sad souls." She was then combing through her hair with a Rawak brush. 

I said, "I'm gonna go get ready to go out." 

"Oh, Duncan, anda gonna see Courtney?" My siblings berkata at the same time.

"Yep! I'm gonna sneak on her balcony...again!" I berkata as I ran up the stairs to my bathroom to take a shower. The last thing I heard was their laughter, that was becoming a habbit here.

Courtney's POV:

I woke up that Wednesday thinking of two things, how AMAZING last night went. And sadly, how Duncan was RIGHT seterusnya door.

Just my luck, eh? I got up and stretched my arms. I went to my dresser and picked out some clothes, I heard a knock at my door.

"Come in!" I said. 

My two sisters came in with grins on their face. "Mornin'!" they said. They weren't usually morning people.

"Hey." I said. We came in and sat on my bed.

"So, what happened after mom and dad accepted Justin and anda two went up here?" Sarah asked.

"Well," I started. "he and I talked for a while then we flirted then we kissed, a lot! But..."

"But!? There's a but!!!" Kayla said, a little too excited. 

"You guys are my sisters, and I can tell anda anything. Okay, I didn't feel the way I did when.."

"WHEN anda Ciuman DUNCAN!?" Both of them yelled as loud as possible. My parents were already at work.

"Shhhh! They could probably hear anda seterusnya door!" I said.

"That's amazing!" Kayla said. 

"Amazing? This is fantastic!" Sarah agreed.

I was shocked, "What!? anda guys take pride in my misery don't you?"

They looked at eachother then nodded, "It's not that we like your pain..." Sarah started.

"We just REALLY want anda and Duncan together!" Kayla finished.

"Oh!" Sarah said. "By the way, Duncan has a sister!"

Kayla said, "Yeah, she came over last night, she seems really nice. I think her, me, and sJs could be really good friends!" Kayla always did like to call Sarah sJs, I'll try it sometime.

"You're Friends with the neanderthol's SISTER!?"

"She's really nice, and doesn't seem like a neanderthol like Duncan. Give her a chance, please." Sarah said.

"Okay, I get it, let me get dressed, okay? We have a long hari ahead of us!" I said.

They left and I went back to the dresser. I pulled out a white tank bahagian, atas and a black jacket. And dark jeans. I then changed into those, I decided to go onto my balcony.

Me hati, tengah-tengah screamed, 'Justin is only replacing Duncan in your heart!' 

I opened the door and didn't look anywhere but ahead, I berkata to myself, "If it's true that Justin is just replacing Duncan in my hati, tengah-tengah I would know. But if my hati, tengah-tengah is telling, screaming, this everday is it true? If I still liked Duncan I would know. If he still liked me I would know. He doesn't like me still. I can't like him either. Even though part of me always will, he was my first love."

I felt a pair of hands cover my shoulders and I heard his voice say, "If I didn't still like you, would I be here? And would I have telah diberi anda the skull charm? And I just want to add this, my sister is not a neanderthol, quite the opposite. And plus, I heard every. Word."

I was him. And he just heard the deepest secret I have ever held. I never even told my sisters.
